Hope to find some cheap autox replacements for the front or all around, before the next event.
I have 3 205/45-16 RE-71Rs that are probably good for at least another 4-6 events if flipped. The fourth is corded, so no good. I want to keep the wheels they're on, but you can have the tires -- just ...

April 23 Classic - Post Event
I had a blast and I have Steve to thank for driving suggestions as it made a difference with each run.
Though not as fun as driving, working station 3 was pretty entertaining. That inside cone at the end of the last turnaround was frequently nudged without penalty, to where I just headed for it ...

Time for tires
thanks for the color on the sport comps. might go for them next FAST season.
For us S5 folks, both Amazon and Walmart have them in 195 55r15 for ~$76, tempting.
Amazon also has Federal 595 EVO in same size for ~$66. Reviews are sparse but positive.

Time for tires
I've been poking around at tire prices and I've been surprised by Amazon and Walmart.
Not your axe but both have cheapest price on bfg sport comp 2 in my desired size...and ship for free.
Might be worth a look next time around.

April 8th - on the Turnaround.
Thank you organizers for another fun event!
Great course, very good experience for me as I need plenty of slalom help. Thanks to Steve for the coaching and for demonstrating both the Gulfenvagen's potential and the skill gap I need to keep workin' on.
That second to very last slalom cone....needs ...

Bill, stuff like that usually ends up on the front shelf of the trailer. But, if it's unrecognizable as a part that someone might want (random bit of plastic, or BROKEN bit of plastic), it might not make it that far. And if it does make it that far, it might get pitched after a couple months when ...

I had a great time. Was in my car for 14 runs (7 by me 7 by Steve).
Steve thanks for the good advice and encouragement. Also thanks for demonstrating my car's potential with your driving.
Can't wait to show my wife and kids my second place sticker lol [emoji41]

FAST Open Autocross - March 11
So the Fastiva lives, but last I heard is not race-able just yet.
It's my turn to move the trailer so I'll have my truck.
Looking for a "just-in-case" co-drive - either session, any class. :)
If you mean "share someone's car" I'm happy to do it. It's an automatic vw station wagon though . I'll ...
