Oct 20th means FALL is in the air - for some.

Thanks to Preston's post I realize that I could have used 4th to pull some more speed out of the way down. The last run that I was really able to push the car I got to the rev limiter of 3rd pretty early on. If you dont mind my asking, did you do the rest of the course in 3rd? Like you said the ...

Oct 20th means FALL is in the air - for some.

Lauren, sorry to hear about the money shift. The last WRL race I attended my teammate $$ shifted at 110mph and a few laps later had a bbq out on track. (Nobody was hurt, and the fire got put out relatively quick) Point of the story, at least you didn't lose a rod and have oil let loose on the ...

What about a PAX Class? - Revisited

I would be for a "Pro" class if it used SCCA classing to formulate the PAX modifier. But, it looks like I would be the minority.

6/30 best day evar!

The morning session was an epic battle in M3, everyone one of the front runners except Curtis showed up. If I have done my math correctly, only one point separates Tyler from myself going into the final Open event to determine First Place for the year. I think only two point separates the next two ...

*crickets*
*maniacal laughter*

Preston, I highly recommend not buying a Mirage to autocross. Unless your a sadist who likes playing the underdog.

That bad huh? lol I pointed out how large/tall it looked considering the weight when it sat next to two miatas. Is the car pretty much stock other ...

Oct 21 Post-Event

I continued my streak of hitting a cone on my would be fast runs that started at nationals, so nix the 52.8 and 53.0, and give me that sweet sweet 53.6?...past that, it was enjoyable as usual. Way to go Phillip, impressive time, I hate you for making me look like a scrub and beating me in what may ...

April 23 Classic - Post Event

Another great event, first time at the greyhound site so I don't know typical course setups, this one was good, lots of fun. The on and off camber (hills for lack of a better word) coupled with lower grip limits that you can achieve on concrete made for an entertaining day. Really enjoyed the ...

Rules Changes for 2017-18 Season

Any talk about starting a pro class based on SCCA classing and the PAX system? Works well for a lot of other clubs, can potentially limit any rule change at all, those who actually compete outside of FAST can simply run in pro and be rack and stacked against each other. Not sure what timing ...

April 8th - on the Turnaround.

Being that I've only been to one other FAST club event...

1. Course design was fantastic for the space and the obvious needed elements to make it work. Had plenty of gotcha places and turned out to flow really well, pleasantly surprised.

2. Was a little bummed about only 4 runs. Did enjoy only ...
