Re: March 28 - SPC

Dan, get 2 bags, 3 if you can carry them. One-ish will be enough for the event, but since you are going, we may as well get a little extra.

Adam's volunteered for supplies, so he should have you covered on the usual consumables. The Flowers' lunch service includes paper products, so we're good ...

Re: March 28 - SPC

I'm headed to Allen's tomorrow to grab chalk - how many bags do we need?

Also - any other supplies we need to grab before the event? Its been nearly a year since I've seen the trailer so I have no idea how well stocked (or not) we are. . .

Also (again) - Set of 4x Star Specs on the way from Tire ...

Re: March 28 - SPC

Jeremy (or anyone else) a compromise is also totally an option - if there is a course everyone wants to try, but tweaked, and we can sort the tweak out together/in advance, that could be a win/win!

Okay, just be sure Jamie has you down for the correct position. I'll keep you in the loop as the course design comes in. (Dan? Nick?)

Nick & I are both too busy to be interested in designing a ...

Re: March 28 - SPC

Alright - time to tap the brain trust!

I want a list of names from those of you who've been around for a while - looking to dig up some OLD folks! Anyone who hasn't been out for a while & needs a good excuse. . .

Re: March 28 - SPC

I'm here! :D

I don't even know if Nick is registered on the forum. . .

I thought it might be fun to see if we can dig up as many folks who haven't been out in a year + as possible! Who has info for OGs? Sound like a fun idea? Dumb idea?

Also, maybe a year ago we tried a new pizza place ...

- - - Custom Powder Coating & Media Blasting - - -

Bobby & I are hoping this is going to be a big hit with you guys! We've got a killer media blasting & powder coating rig up and running and we're looking for projects to take on. Everything from routine stuff like valve covers to weird & wild stuff - this is 100% custom work & one-on-one attention ...

+1 in the 'Loved it' column here! Thought the course had a nice mix of tight/technical stuff + all out speed. 3/4 runs had cones for me & I got a good reminder how much I'm used to relying on the ABS in my Silver Miata. As others have already mentioned, well run & well food'd as always.

Fantastic school. It IS a big event to run, but my enthusiasm for AutoX always peaks each year around the time of the school.

It's just great seeing folks explore their cars & their own limits for the first time & then seeing the excitement at their success - I love it! Only better thing is seeing ...

It was owner (I think) and builder. Builder is Dan Rasp's boss so I suspect Dan did some (much?) wrenching on it. Hopefully he can comment on it.

Correction - the car was built for a customer, well before my time. That's all Scott! 8) The car was/is set up for going really fast at Sebring, so ...

Fun video. Classic Minis are some of my all-time favorite cars - yours looks especially nice. I'll have to get my friend Phil back out with his. . .

I put up a very small gallery of the few pix I got from the day, mostly family & friend stuff, but one is of your Mini.

I had a great time out there. Was my first autocross with FAST and with my 190e. Was consistently knocking off time, so I was very happy.

Hope to make it out to the next one!

Sorry I didn't find you at the event - I wanted to compliment your driving on the 190E! I'm a big fan of those cars ...

Naw, the head is basically a stock rebuild. The shave is the only thing that is arguably making more power, but it's within factory rebuild specs. Plus, as you mentioned, I'm not that great a driver so there shouldn't be anyone calling for a tear-down or anything. . .

I figured this was ...

Help me be lazy!

I want to return my silver Miata to stock 'H' class & all I need to do it is to loose the Teins & get back to stock springs. I've had KYB AGXs & 93LE valved Bilsteins already & want to try something new but don't feel like doing the work to figure out what the hot ticket for SCCA stock class ...
