It's an odd mix in S3. Little FWD sport compacts vs 4000 pound RWD behemoths with 500hp. I've always had very little respect for the latter. It might be time I suffer some poetic justice :)

I was looking over the new classing rules, and then at the registered drivers.

The Focus ST is now in S3, which is good. It was an overdog in S5, which is why I bumped myself up to S4 last year.

I think that Kevin England accidentally registered in S4. I think Chris Meier is also misclassed in S4 ...

I had a good time, and got to hang out and talk with autocross friends, old and new. The events don't happen without a 100% volunteer effort, so thanks to everyone.

I loved the big turnout in S4... 15 cars... so many little hatchbacks, turbo and otherwise (and Miatas too!).

Why did my number show up as 2x in this event? It's 1337. Nobody else uses that number.

I don't find the temp build on 3ft deep tan concrete being the same as 2" deep black asphalt either. But that's only my feet telling me they aren't burning as much when I work grid for 1.5 hours.

I've only been to one classic event. I would've gone to more, but the part that I cannot get past is the nearly $50 price of admission. I have not been autocrossing as long as some, but the $25 entry fee is pretty clear in my memory less than 10 years ago ...
