I owe a lot of thanks to Jamie to helping me out with running the event. I'm so happy it went smooth and everyone enjoyed it.

I'm super pumped that everyone enjoyed my course.

Eric, thanks for the picture of the "cop" car. Carl certainly drives as though he's heading to a 911 call.

I'm looking forward to chairing another event. I'm hooked!

Thanks, Jamie. I attacked my course design with a vengeance. I knew what I wanted. Regardless, it's going to be a fun course. Getting it 2 weeks ahead ...

I started working on the course design weeks ago. It got finalized last week. Begging is not attractive. It's in Jamie's hands to post it. I didn't even get to see a course map before I ran in March (which explains why I made up my own course during my first run at watercross).

I'm going to need to snatch up one of those guest spots, please.

My course has been approved by Jamie and safety with minor revisions to even out speed. Let's fill those remaining slots!

I already designed the course, just waiting to hear back from Jamie. I tried to use as much space as possible. I'm more than willing to add in some stuff to make it longer, though.

Just live and learn and don't do it again. ^^^ I certainly won't put up with it anymore. Thankfully I'm chairing Brooksville where the gate tells people no.

To add to the issue of late preregistered arrivals:

If you show up late, it is NOT appropriate to start a fight with the people doing registration. It's also not appropriate to walk away cussing about us. I'm a calm person, but I was getting very riled up. The walk ups showed up as early as 715 am ...

The only "bright" side of the rain was finding out how awesome my tires actually are.
