I personally know the head mechanic - Tom Henrikson - and have for many years. A very good guy. He's the only one to touch The Jag other than me.

Are spectators permitted at TBD? I'd love to come watch for a bit.

As I learned, The Jag is not up to handling the stresses of an autoX; it threw a Gearbox Fault and went into limp mode on my second-to-last run. I'll be back, someday.

And we could run our events much slower... but how many people wanted to have either 4 runs today, ...

I've never really had dedicated autoX tires, so I've never faced "the sticker shock of a new set of wheels and tires". I just ran what I was driving to work and the grocery store. Of course, when they wore out I'd replace them with one of the better extreme street tire! :twisted:

I've got my front sway bar re-connected and The Jag is ready to go. With my new tires being so awesome in the rain combined with the absolutely brilliant AWD implementation that Jaguar did I was hoping it would be pouring down on Saturday so ...

I watched the video, and I will have to admit, you look a hell of a lot younger in that video than I remember.

Having driven Mondeos and Contours, and owned a [Mercury] Mystique for a couple of years, no forgiveness needed...it's all how you say potato. Basically the same car. I really liked them; until Sam's Audi, I always said our V-6, 5-speed Mystique was the best long-distance driver we'd ever owned ...

That's a fancy, 4WD Ford Mondeo I'll have you know; the better sibling of the Contour. But you're forgiven for not knowing the difference because Ford killed the Contour and never brought the Mondeo to North ...
