Re: May 12 - SPC
I'll be unable to come tto this event, but I would like to make sure my registration spot goes to someone that needs/wants it. What is the best course of action? Also, can I still apply my credit to next months event?

I'm a Systems Admin by trade, so when I encounter tech issues that effect ME I tend to just say "Ahh screw it" because I spend all day dealing with other peoples issues. Sorry.Loren wrote:You should tell me these things.ShelbyF wrote:Avatars are busted right now so I can't add it to my profile.

Re: April 15th Autox at Brooksville
Posting some now. Hopefully it's the right car. Go back up to my link ^^^
Nice photo, Ed. I just wish someone had told me to slow down "before" I started knocking the clear coat off my car!
Great thanks, now I got BS on my brand new work shoes.

Re: April 15th Autox at Brooksville
Had a great time at my 2nd event. Here's a video of my best run. Unfortunately I nailed a cone but hell with it, I'm happy with my best time, even if I pissed off a cone. Youtube won't let me edit it right now so it's not trimmed, but here it is.

Guest Changes?
Is it possible to change the guest name for the upcoming brookesville autox on the 15th or is that too late? My wife won't make it, but since I already paid I'm going to get my father to come with me if possible.

Re: March 18 SPC
My buddy Shelby came out to his first autocross and had a great time. He improved quite a bit from his first to his last run. Chuck helped a bunch by giving him a bunch of rides. :)
Here is his last run...

Re: April 15 @ Brooksville
Would the registration form have told me if there was no room for my guest? I registered my wife to join me as a guest, I just don't want to get all the way there to find out she isn't on the list. This is my first run at Brooksville so I'm not sure how this venue works.

Great, thanks Loren.
The Revo tune is similar to the GIAC. GIAC focuses a lot more on torque where revo is more of an HP gain. about a 10-15% difference at each one, give or take.

Re: Classing Help
It is not on the list. The previous generation, the Mk4 GTi is there. But that's a completely different chassis, engine, and quite a bit less power than the current Mk5 and Mk6 chassis.

Classing Help
For my first event this last sunday at SPC I ran in the M2 class, but I'm not sure if this is correct and I would like to make sure I am correct going forward. My car is a 2006 VW GTi, 2.0Turbo w/ GIAC ECU Flash, H&R Sport springs, and AEM Cold air intake. My tires are Sumitomo HTRZ 3's.
