Yeah, I'm still working on distinguishing left and right! In any case, awesome shot!chaso wrote: Ditto. These pictures are excellent, Philip!
This is the only tripod stance picture I found, Denny, but it's the driver's rear. It's easily the best action shot I have of me in motion.

Re: Sept 27 Post-event
Sorry Denny, I have no videos of me driving front wheel drive econoboxes in upstate NY in the 80s... this was the closest I could find quickly online for demo purposes but I can assert that maneuvers like this did occur... just.

Re: Sept 27 Post-event
Also, I guess trail braking doesn't work at all in a FWD car.
Ooooh, but it does ... that's how you get the hind end to rotate in a FunWD :thumbwink: but you have to get it just right b/c those front wheels are doing everything. Mess it up and... well, it ends up like the hairpin turn I had when ...

What a fun day. Anyway, here are more pictures. As always, you're free to use them in whatever you want.

I got a few pictures of FWD cars 3-wheeling but I didn't expect to see Ken do it in his Porsche with the front tire!

Re: Sept 27 Post-event
Definitely big fun! With 8 runs, I would have thought I could have gone faster, but I actually went the other way. My best time was my fourth run, and though I improved later on some parts of the course, I made up for it by slowing down on others. Great course, Steve! Thanks to all for a good time ...

Re: Feb 15 Post Event
Looking at the other vids, I was apparently the only dumbass that slalomed each cone between the two gates after the turnaround.
I dont know why I saw the left cone of the first gate as the first slalom cone. Probably worth at least half a second there . .

Re: Feb 15 Post Event
its tempting, I need to do some research on 225/45/18, Stock size for me is 225/40/18 and tire clearance on lowered golfs have issues with tire fittment without fender rolling.
225/45 will be 22mm taller than the 225/40, so half of that will close your existing tire/fender gap. Here's a handy ...

Re: Jan 31 Classic
I'll have to watch your video again, but what I remember, I feel in some spots you could have turned earlier which goes back to Loren mentioning about the using steering effort? Not sure if the R can be driven like fwd? but I try to having the rear swing/prefer having it feel more loose in the ...

Hi everyone! SO here's my contribution--my best clean run at 41.679. Im finding the GoPro vids very instructional. Looking at others vids and at mine, I found 2 systematic errors in my run depicted below. Can you name them (or point out others)?
