Loren wrote:ES would never be in S3, not sure where you got that.

ES is S4. With no LSD you would have the option of downsizing to 195 tires and running in S5.

Except that you are not on stock springs, so you aren't eligible for stock, anyway.
I meant "M", not "S".

Re: FAST 2016 Classing - Effective August 2015

ok, re-read...

I THINK I'm in ES in either s4 or s3. I don't have an LSD and my rear tires ( widest tires ) are 225.

Re: May 23rd Memorial Day Weekend Classic

Please tell me there are no pictures of me plowing through that cone wall (same place as the photo above) doing an instructor run in the red Miata! After 9 runs in the MR-S on grippy RS3's, I hopped into a 1.6 Miata on Primewell tires. There was NO grip!!! I did better on my second attempt, but ...

Re: May 23 - FAST Classic Brooksville

Really, it should be about the same. Miatas are mid-engine. Engine is between the axles. 50% weight balance. Small, light, nimble, underpowered, lots of grip.

Should be fun!

I love my car. I actually sold my Audi over the weekend and bought an RV. Mostly because I enjoy driving the Spyder way ...

Re: May 23 - FAST Classic Brooksville

Yeah, I thought about that. I still don't think we should autocross that car until we get the rear fenders rolled.

Maybe I'll just run "Mod Open" and take single runs in whatever anyone will give me the keys to. That's always entertaining. If you are feeling daring and trust my mechanical ability ...

Re: Post 5/9/15 TBD Event

Thanks for the positive feedback and support yall. Loren and I knew it was gonna be a busy day, and the course that was put together was supposed to have a 30ish second overlap. Turned out for safety reasons the overlap was more like 50-55 seconds, and needless to say, that kinda dragged things out ...

...one car on course at a time & therefore longer wait between runs didn't allow the event to "flow" as smoothly as some at Brooksville....
The "wait" between individual runs keeps coming up (I'm not picking on Dan specifically...he just provided the quote)...what, exactly, is everyone so spun up ...
