Thanks for putting on a great event. I never thought I would find myself the slowest car of the day. I'm glad that no one ended up creaming the pink/red cones (not even me!) as I had expected. If I remember correctly then pink cones = automatic DNF if you hit them. I think there will be many DNFs this event. RIP Pink cones.

We may do special events during which certain cones hit do result in dnf, but that's rare, and never at an Open or Classic. Down or out - 2 sec penalty ...

Ron was on the radio and out the window yelling for a red flag, and courseworkers did nothing.

I feel like we might want to see if we could improve the walkies. It can be intimidating to use the red flags when there is squawking on the radio. It might also be worth it to make corner captains ...

Really fun day. I don't think I've ever seen so many DNFs. Can't wait to see the videos from the first run group. If we do a course like this again we should put blood packets in the cones.

Phew, i got one of the last slots in the early session. This should be the event that kills my all season tires. It will also be my first time at this venue; Is there anything I need to prepare for?

I'm sad that I won't be able to make it. The weather should be perfect. I even gave my car a full service and attempted to make the paint better.

His truck is a stock 2002 Dodge Dakota crew cab 4X4. Tires are nothing special. I'm guessing it's a "we'll decide when we see it" type of thing? It's not on the SCCA classing list so what class might it go in?

So, I have a silly question. I'm trying to convince him to co-drive my car, but he is hesitant. He does keep (sarcastically) saying that he could beat me in his Dodge. I figured I'd call his bluff by registering him in his Dodge and see if he'll man up.

This was a really fun event, the figure eight should show up more often. Don't be too critical of the video, it was my worst run (after penalties). I had camera trouble for the better runs I am looking forward to photos though.

So, the prelude is HS, but has 205 width tires. Do I really have to put it in S4 with all season tires?

Waidaminute! My wife's accord has 195 width tires!

We just tightened up the leaks on the AMX, now it's off to the shop for a new carburetor and fan shroud then it should be good to go! Has the S10 run before? That will be interesting to see.

Finally going to get the AMX to the track! The driver does have a bum knee though. What kind of work assignment can he expect?
