Just reg'd using an event credit from the last event I didn't make. I also left timing for worker preference as the default and didn't notice on this thread that those slots were all full. I'm sure I can find something else to do. I assume I will have my truck back from the repair shop by the time this event rolls around.

Word from the airport is that it's ok to drop off the trailer on the 14th, and pick it up on the 16th if need be.

Cool. Can it be left ON the runway or does it need to be parked elsewhere before/after the event?

Is the GATE combo the same as last time?

I can help tech. It would be a first time for me, but Ive built a few cars in my day and know a loose battery when I see one.

The gate combo hasn't changed as far as I know. "Last time" was last month, right?
Friday park it on the runway in the usual position. But I told them if we needed to leave it until Sunday that it would be "out of the way." I don't want to draw any more attention to ourselves than we may already have...

Does the combo begin with a 9?

We will need someone to haul it off the runway Saturday after the event. Can we park it in the grass next to the porta-potty? I can pick it up Sunday morning.

That's by the motorcycle connexs?

Okay, drop trailer Friday in position, move to location near the BMW trailer after the event Saturday, pick up Sunday. Please let Howard know our plans.

Steve, I didn't get your msg. Can you resend?

I have been working on the initial course map and sent the first draft to Loren. He has reviewed it and I need to review his review. I will do that by this weekend.

Does anyone have a idea of what supplies we currently have left over from last event?

Shon - pm sent. Lemme know if you get it or not - sent the last one twice - fail.
I don't know where we were with supplies - and there was nothing in the Dec post-event thread...

Ed - yes - the trailer is down by the motorcycle area

Once I bring my car, uh, Miata, up to actual E2 spec, your game is over...(that may or may not happen this season  )

There's no replacement for displacement.

The "Push Harder, Suck Less" philosophy explained:
Push Harder - Drive as close to the limit of your tires as possible.
Suck Less - Drive something resembling a proper racing line.

Except that he really belongs in Class A, which is a mix of displacement and boost. Perfect place!
