I must give Drew kudos for admitting he wears panties and blouses. Guess it proves that "manly" Mustang...isn't.

Steve, those things just happen when you drive a Miata.

Jim- Quoted directly from the article---"the Mustang was and remains an exemplar of traditional American masculinity: loud, unrefined, and not particularly agile."

If someone wants to make a gay version, I won't judge.

There is a gay version of the Miata. It's the convertible one.

I think I may have a problem. Is Miata-bashing a gateway drug?

Drew people's personal preferences are no one's business but their own...no need to explain or defend your preference in undergarment.

And that article quote about Mustangs...was that from your latest issue of Cosmopolitan? :P

Dang, we need to steer this thread in another direction.

Uh, so. (How 'bout them Cubs?) Sure is gonna be fun to thrash on Jeff's orange Miata, huh? We got a fix on what the tires are going to be? Will they survive 50 *drive it like a rental* autocross runs?

Thrashing Jeff's car is gonna be a blast no matter what tires. Beating on Someone Else' Car (SEC racing) is the best!

I think to make the field of drivers even more even, we need to apply the parking brake at different settings depending on driver skill. For example, I would get no brake, Steve and Drew would get a partial brake, and Loren would get full on lock down brake. :D

See Rule #4
The car will be prepared and maintained throughout the day by Jeff, to include tire pressures. (subject to change if necessary, see rule #1)

I'm gonna start off high and bleed off pressure as the day goes on (gets hot) try and keep the hot pressures as consistent as possible.. However, If someone wants some bonus power or grip, bribes are entertained...

You gonna tell 'em where the hidden "sport mode" button is that enables the nitrous, firms up the suspension and modifies the shift program for optimum acceleration?

If you go into your profile, you can add your name so that it will show up with your posts.

If you were to do that, then I wouldn't have to fail yet again in an attempt to connect an obscure forum handle with a real name. :geek:

I would love to sign up but I'm afraid the car would not handle my greatness resulting in a slower lap time and possibly damaging the car
