Classing changes forwarded to Ron:

Justin Bragan #151 move from E3 to E2
Turbo Talon = class E2

Larry Shanaberger #137 move from C to A
Miata plus SM coilover kit minus complete interior = class A

NOT reclassing the Mercedes at this time. We don't have a specific classification for it, but an E55 AMG is in class G (this one is an E63), and their performance at this event did not indicate that the car is misclassed. 6th in class didn't take any points away from anyone, anyway, so moot for this event. If anyone cares to discuss, open a new topic.

Well, there's your problem. You should have been practicing NOT braking. :whip:
At least you know that your car can set FTD. You just have to put "the course whisperer" at the wheel.

Regarding the techniques discussion: I never move my hands unless I have to for something slow and sharp. I keep my hands at 9 & 3 and cross them as far as I can, like Jeremy is doing. Not really a choice, it's a product of my car. I am constantly correcting in a sometimes futile attempt to keep the nose pointed where it needs to be. I may go from turn-in to counter-steering an equally opposite amount in a single turn (not a driving style, but things happen) . Shuffle steering just doesn't work for me. My hands are always where I need them to be.

That was the problem. I was slowing to much and then having to try to speed up in a slow car :bangwall: . It was fun though and I had a good time! :thumbwink:

My car and I had a really good time. It's the first time I've been able to experience oversteer - a good lesson to learn.

Thanks to Jamie and Sam for a well put on event! The course looked wimpy at first sight but was challenging once behind the wheel. (I could blame my horrible scores and lost lines on the fact that I was a bit dizzy :rolling: !) Lunch will be talked about for a long time, Ed.

Thanks for another fantastic weekend, guys!
