Assuming the trailer is staying overnight at the airport, there's still no one signed up to bring it in Saturday, and no one signed up to take it out on Sunday. Can't do anything at Brooksville without out it!

True on all counts. It will be staying Saturday. Can be dropped off Friday and picked up Monday if that is more convenient for somebody.

Hmmm... running out of trailer-tow options. :(

Hey guys. I'd like to sign up for the gymkhana day, but I signed up "backwards." Meaning, I signed up for Sunday, so now I can't get the discount. Is there any way to fix it?

If you're doing both days and you didn't get the discount, just put a note on your registration that you need a $10 credit. Remind someone at event registration and they can hand you $10.

How much does it cost to rent a small "local" Tampa moving truck for two days? Penske/Hertz/Billy Bob's?

Just a thought. Could be left at the site all weekend still hooked to trailer?

I will consider letting whoever drives it out to Airport and back to co-drive Shamu, wife's bone stock AOD 86GT CV on Saturday and (so far) S1 + S2's fastest RX8 on Sunday's Points event.

Someone will give them a ride home Saturday and back out Sunday!! Right? Didn't B.B. say he needed a temp ride? Just another typing out loud thought. Two birds two stones.

Rental is always a last resort. It is considerably more expensive. Yes, we can leave a tow vehicle out there with the trailer, not a problem.

Quick question... Generally, when is the day over? I may be cutting it close with some other plans, so I've held off on registration so far.

We're typically done by 3:30-4pm. If you're signing up for Saturday, since the turnout is so low, we may be done as early as 2pm. (or, since we don't have to pack up, we may stay as late as people feel like!)

Due to the low registration for this event, and it being a 2-day autox weekend for most of us, I've decided to ease the morning schedule a bit. We'll open the gate around 8:30 instead of the usual 7am. But, we won't have the gate manned for long... best to be there by 9am to avoid being stuck outside! Jamie, can you broadcast that bit of info to all of the registered drivers after registration is closed?

We'll start the event whenever we're done setting it up, probably around 11am. It'll be loose, casual and fun.

Even with a late start, we should be done with the "formal" event by 2pm. As long as the people running are willing to help clean up at the end of the day (not much to clean up, we can leave the cones out and we don't need to set up Sunday's course), we can do more practice runs for a while after that.

Event Info revised to include the practice course. Pretty much the best part of Sunday's course, I think. :thumbwink:

That would be the large, empty expanse beyond the "practice course grid"?

FIXED! It was a filename fail. Must have been asleep when I checked it.

Thanks for pointing that out, Jamie.

You know... I had the notion of designing a "Plinko" autocross course once. Where you have to navigate the cones that are out there to get from one end to the other, but without a specified path. Never got very far with the idea, though.

I just confirmed that I have to work Saturday. I'm not going to be able to make it.
I was hoping to defend my 2nd place over all from the last gymkhana. Especially since 1st place(Chris Kory) isn't going to be there.

Oh well. I'm still planning on being there Sunday.
