Policy on kids and pets at events

Postby Native » Sun Feb 09, 2014 8:36 pm

Hi all.
Just wanted to post a friendly reminder of our policy on pets and children.
In a nutshell, they aren't allowed.

Our rule on it is here,
http://drivefast.org/rules/basic-rules/
and basically it states that we don't want young'uns or pets anywhere around the cars. It's just not safe, and it adds a level of liability that's easily avoided.

If circumstances are such that you have no choice but to bring your child or pet to an event, having them outside the gate at SPC is ok. The grassy spectator area at TampaBayDowns is specifically set up as the "family" viewing area. Brooksville, well, there's really no place there's no cars, so just don't bring 'em.

Thanks for your support in helping us keep our events as safe as possible.

What he said. "Hot areas" are off-limits for anyone pets or anyone under the age of 16.

The "Push Harder, Suck Less" philosophy explained:
Push Harder - Drive as close to the limit of your tires as possible.
Suck Less - Drive something resembling a proper racing line.
