Matt, have you seen the one like that with cops doing it on full-size MotoGuzzi bikes? Pretty impressive.

Anyway, reg is closed. We ended up with exactly 100 entries (and yes, I got Rob's co-driver in).

Semi-final count for the BYF Contest:
Euro - 17
US - 12
Mazda - 28 (minus Steve, Loren, Ron & Matt) = 24
Ford - 24 (minus Drew) = 23
Asian - 19 (minus Dave) = 1

That's after turning Gerry's "Veyron" back into a Mazda 2.

There are always no-shows, and who knows who they will be. So, it's too early to call this one.

Yeah, but being "Early Session", you've got the rest of your Saturday free after lunch! Or you can blow off lunch and leave the event by 11-11:30 and be home in time for lunch... or a nap... or a nooner... or...

So when does the smack talk start? The event is tomorrow!

I've got my front sway bar re-connected and The Jag is ready to go. With my new tires being so awesome in the rain combined with the absolutely brilliant AWD implementation that Jaguar did I was hoping it would be pouring down on Saturday so I could dominate this event. ;) But it isn't to be, I guess. :*(

So you'll leave at oh-dark-thirty for work, but not for fun? Hmm....
WAFlowers wrote:So when does the smack talk start?
I already called your car a Ford...you want more of that?! :dunno:

If you wanted pouring rain, you should have been up at Brooksville a couple of weeks back. On the other hand, if you're touting the Britishness of your Ford, you probably don't want rain anywhere near that computer-controlled AWD system.

I'm very tempted to do an instructor run in my daughter's automatic transmission Fiesta. 8-)

You can't get me that way. I'm glad it is a sorta-Ford; that way there are no Lucas electronics in it!

That would have been fun! :thumbwink:

When I fail to your greatness I was going to blame it on my automatic transmission, but maybe I'll have to use the excuse of a 2-year absence. :bangwall:
