I'll second that! (well, I didn't do anything with Mary and cord...)

The day was not without its challenges, pretty much from the very beginning. But, nothing bad happened (aside from Matt's tire malady... but, it appears the only damage was to a tire and a valve stem), and everybody got two runs of FIVE laps each!

Short list of issues we had to work through today:
A tractor trailer parked ON the edge of the runway.
Farm equipment parked near the edge of the runway.
A skeleton crew of workers.
No-shows.
Holding the event for the tractor trailer to be moved. (actually, that happened pretty quickly)
Rain.
Matt's deflated, de-beaded, mangled tire.
More rain.

But, we persevered!

Short list of reasons why:
Everyone who was there!

Y'all are great! I think we all enjoy a well-attended event where there are more than enough workers, and we can put people where they are needed and it's relatively "easy" for all. This event was anything but that! But, nobody complained, and everyone pitched in where needed to get everything done. My personal thanks to each and every one of you!

And now, allow me to be the first to say... "Results?"

Ron is on the ball today. (did you notice that there were no reruns today?)

Results are up!

By the way, the Enduro shirts ran late. I'll probably get them Monday. :bangwall:

I'll have them at the FAST Awards party on August 23, and at the next autocross on September 6th.

I did order 5 extras, so if you didn't order one and would like one, email me to claim it. Bonus points if you go ahead and PayPal me $15.

If you have not done a FAST Enduro...... You don't know what you are missing!!!!! Here's the last couple laps of yesterday's course.

loved the course, we squeezed the last dying breath out of our tires, too bad for Mary that she let me be her tire warmer! :rolling: See y'all at the next FAST event.

You were really bouncing around! It's tough to realize how rough that runway is until you see it in a stiffly-sprung car.

Great event! My first enduro cross and I really enjoyed it - can't wait to do another one :)

It did emphasize the cooling issue the Mach has - finished each run with the coolant 60* above what it's supposed to be. Really need to get that fixed...

Thanks for a great course and fun day!

Definitely had room for improvement out there! Tried to pick up on run 2 where I left off on run 1...but forgot the tires needed to get warmed up a little more! The whistling you hear is the heat blowing full blast...trying to keep my car temps down. Course was a blast!

That was a great deal of fun sans the rain. I too was having cooling issues in an SN95 Mustang though mine is and old skool 5.0...

Pardon the stupid useless aspect ratio, this is a "feature" of my el cheapo camera. Thankfully I don't rely on my videography skills to feed myself.

Yeah... Endurocross is awesome! So again in February sounds good to me so I can have some redemption... Rubber valve stems to be installed tomorrow.

But, hey, at least you know you were getting close enough to the cones!

Hah yeah... I'm curious how many cones I had actually hit up until that point. Anyone in timing or on the course remember?

For those of you who are not on social media, here's Sarah's pics: http://photos.prettyprettypaintings.com/

Due to the patchy spots of rain, she may have missed a few cars/runs in the afternoon. Haven't invested in any waterproofing for the camera.

As always, PM me for any shots that you want. Just send me the image number and an email address.
