2014-15 FAST Championship - Final Points

Postby Loren » Sun Jul 19, 2015 12:18 am

The 2015 season is over! Time to figure out who the class winners are.

There were eleven FAST Open Championship events this season. We had nearly 400 individuals compete in FAST events this season. Of those, only 53 met the 5-event qualification for a season trophy! Only a handful of drivers had "perfect attendance" drivers this year. There were 9 who attended all of the Open events, and 2 of those who attended ALL 23 of this season's events. (including Classics)

Only the R2 class had no qualifying drivers. The remaining 10 classes will each see a total of 25 award winners for first, second and third place.

Only one trophy position was tied this season, and it was easily broken by following the Policy. That was a tie between Doug Adams and Carl Wagenfohr for 3rd in S1. With more 2nd place finishes, Doug prevailed!

If you have time, please have a look at The Complete Points List and let me know if I made any mistakes that affect any of the top 3 finishes. I'll give it a few days before I call things "official" and make big announcements and stuff.

Need some eyes on this. Be sure to let me know if you see anything wrong. Or if you've looked it over and NOT found anything wrong. We'll be compiling our final awards list very soon.

I see a couple of minor errors in S3, but none that will change the overall standings. Brian Meyers should not have any points for the Jul. 18th event as he didn't show. And I don't think mine or Nate's drops are correct.

Oh, hang on... I need to look at everyone's drops. When I did them preliminarily, I only dropped 2 events because we had one event left. I need to go back and add everyone's 3rd drop.

Stand by...

Okay, I dropped Brian Meyers' one point from 7/18 and fixed the drops. Highlighted all of the relevant drops in yellow so they are easier to see.

Let me know if y'all see anything else. Obviously, I do make mistakes.

Looks good to me for S1 and everything else for that matter except now a lot of the S3 racers names disappeared?

Possibly the final update. I fixed the R1 tie between Dave and Bob. (go, Dave!)

Going once... going twice...

How can Dave win 3rd with only 4 events?

Good catch. Guess I'll have to unfix that fix!
