FAST 2015 Awards Party - August 29
Let's talk about this awards party thing!
Who: All the friends and family of FAST!
What: FAST Awards and annual meeting, pot-luck style picnic, and an all-around good time.
Where: Philippe Park (Safety Harbor) Shelter #7
When: August 29 11am-2pm (or later)
Please pre-register for this as you would any other event, except this one is FREE! Just bring some food to share.
This will be a family-friendly gathering. Philippe park is well-shaded with nice playgrounds for the little ones, plenty of space for anything else, and we have a shelter with a great view of the bay and with restrooms nearby.
Please do take the time to register if you're planning to come. FAST will be providing BBQ, drinks and ice, and more depending on what other folks decide to bring. We need to know how many to buy for.
Full details and registration Here
You can register anyone you want to bring with you as a part of your own entry. Just add them as a guest so that we can keep an accurate count.
The entry list will show what type of dish each person is bringing. Hopefully, that will help keep us from having too much of anything in particular. We always get a wide variety of delicious stuff. Feel free to let us know what you're bringing here in this thread!
I'll try to keep a specific list below of anything anyone says they're bringing:
Brian Kollar / FAST - Smoked Pork
FAST - Soft Drinks, Water & Ice
Ben Wheaton - Rice Krispy Treats
Ron Rice - Baked Beans
John Evans - chili garlic teriyaki wings on the grill
Doug Adams - cupcakes and guaranteed-chilled tater salad
Jason Ball - world famous chocolate chip cookies
Josh Rector - Chips & Dips
Drew Scoda - King's Hawaiian Rolls
Eva Chang - Cole Slaw

Everyone seemed to like the beans last year. I'll bring the baked beans again.

Re: FAST 2015 Awards Party - August 29
I am so excited to eat the "other stuff" I can hardly wait.
Maria will make a couple dozen cupcakes and I will eventually figure out how to keep my "famous" potato salad cold. Fear not I have experience.
I fully expect to win a sticker for placing in the top 3 foods
Awards after eating, right?
I might even try to find some $4/doz deviled eggs. Damned Avian Flu.
