Shamu being a vert had a factory X brace in the front and special boxes at the rear + a much lower center of gravity than the GT or LX coupe.
Also the 86 AOD was much faster to 60 than any stick (6 seconds) as it had a lower 3.27 diff ratio and crazy torque with it's bastard heads only used one year. Also the FI computer used from 86-87 was in my opinion superior to the 88 and on. But then what do I know I only won S3 events a few times
AND that Drew guy has an 87!! Ask him. He will share.

I probably should replace suspension bushings and motor mounts on both cars, but there's no metal-to-metal noise, and they look OK from underneath.... But that's about it.
