All hail the Mayor of Dougopolous. And long-live the Queen, for she keepeth the Mayor of sane mind (sort of...).

Please forward your course map designs to Lauren for review. We'll be waiting.

Clearly Doug will be picking up my share of smack talk while I'm gone. I think you're all in good hands.

Doug will also be picking up my sticker this weekend! I unfortunately (or fortunately) got an offer I couldn't refuse on my 911, and will be selling it at lunch today. A little faster than I expected, as my replacement car isn't supposed to be arriving in Tampa until next Friday. Have a great event, hopefully I'll have the new car broken in and ready by the May event.

Tony,

Too bad you signed up for the Morning or we could have co-driven the Vette. Someone mentioned you were looking to get a new ride. Is it faster? You guys better learn from Jamie and start driving a 200k mile sports car to work or the brass will think something's fishy going on.

I don't hit many cones (so the course workers like me), have always talked the same trash talk (and gotten it back in spades), at the end of the season am in the points chase for a t-shirt (some times in two classes), most of my runs are pretty consistent (I've let a lot of top drivers beat me or at least try to in my car) and I always end up in the top 50% of all competitors including those with fun runs and lots of mods.

Sounds like people want to believe it's all done with smoke, mirrors, trick cars and pharmaceuticals. The secret ingredient is a Rx bi-focal windshield and being born in East Toledo acquiring a thick skin. :thumbwink:

Thanks Doug and Matt for the co-drive offers, wasn't in the cards this week. Doug, I don't know if it'll be faster but I like the new car better. Should be picking it up this week, will post a couple of pics when I get my hands on it. Google 2016 Boxster Spyder and you can check it out. One year special edition Boxster with the 3.8L from my 911 and a 6-speed. Should be a lot of fun!

The "Push Harder, Suck Less" philosophy explained:
Push Harder - Drive as close to the limit of your tires as possible.
Suck Less - Drive something resembling a proper racing line.
