Let me clarify a little.
If our basic course gives us about a 25-second start interval as it did last time, we should be able to do 10 runs easily. (450 seconds run time)
Adding a loop will add another 20 seconds to that start interval, we can still do at least 6 runs easily. But, they'll probably be over a minute long instead of about 45 seconds. (390 seconds run time, but in bigger chunks)
What I'm thinking for design is that instead of hooking right into the hairpin from the first part of the course, hook left. Take the big sweeper clockwise, do the slalom, and then take the hairpin CW and do the rest of the course as-drawn. That gives us the sweeper both ways and the slalom twice. I think it would be a lot of fun.
But, I'm easy. We can run it as-drawn, too. (and if registration picks up during the last couple days, we likely will)

That looks pretty awesome in my humble opinion. I think it will be a fun course either way, however running it the longer ( revised?) way will certainly be exciting. We should be able to pick up enough speed to really work on braking technique. Just my two...

We're up to 35 drivers now, we'll probably stick with the original course.
Registration closes this evening if anyone still needs to sign up!

So I've got bad news and good news, the bad news is my S2000 won't be ready for Sunday, and the good news is I am completely available to keep tires warm for one select driver.

Ben, you've been away for so long that a lot of people don't even know who you are! Maybe if you show up and offer some tire money (the dog track lot isn't easy on tires), somebody will help you out?

Sorry guys but it looks like I am not going to be able to make it out there. I apologize for such late notice. Have fun and enjoy yourselves, hopefully I can make it out again sometime soon.

I fixed some loud rattles and squeaks on my car and have my maps printed. Packed up and ready for Sunday.

Steve and I gave the FASTiva a once-over and quick shake-down drive. Good to go!
