What a blast. Glad I got to meet some new friends and get signed up for an event after something close to 5 years. Les, thanks for the advice about the car, can't wait to try it out! I'm glad that Dan and I could convince other Dan to come too!!!!

Good to meet you too Carl, and thanks for showing up in a car that serves as a perfect reminder of one of my few regrets in life. LOL I realized later that you didn't know me from Adam and you might have thought I was talking out of my ass. Well, I am certainly talking out of my ass, but I have at least been autocrossing Corvettes for nearly 10 years now and while I"m not a national champion by any means, I have a couple NC state championships on my resume.

Lol that is not what it was at all. Being perfectly honest, I would have stayed and chatted for hours - hell, we didn't even touch on the topic of if you currently had a street bike... I didn't want either Dan's wife or mine to be angry with our 2 hour "one beer," and I was starving too. I kind of felt like you might think I was brushing you off, which is absolutely not what was happening!
