Is that correct?
Yes, that's correct. I live close to IRB and it takes an hour to get there using the highway and expressway.

Okay Ladies. Since my main competitors are being distracted by taking pix of you ALL "pretending to race". I'm expecting both Carl and Philip to actual race me again and leave their camerae at home!!

You yahoo's point the Proturd at your face to see how you lose with no grace at all.

I fully expect THE Carl and THE Philip to put up their best effort FCS (For Christ's Sake) they kick ass when they don't worry about yall. The "Late" session will be awesome if I can get my competition back. Philip beat me by 3 seconds on a long course in the same heat when he wasn't filming you assholes over driving and generally "sucking".

Great! Can I pay cash at the tolls or must I have a Sunpass? I assume I head east and take 589 north to exit 37?

You can at 2 tolls and the others are toll by plate, I guess the rental company will bill you?
If give your self a half hour more you can take US 19 and avoid the tolls.

Yep, and once past the gate, follow the road for ~1/3 mile to the back of the field.

Thrifty. They get $10.49 a day with a max of $53 for the week. It's a bit much. Can I buy a transponder at Publix or similar and be done with it. I'll just bring the transponder each time we go south. I already have E-Z Pass for the northeast.

Doug Disclaimer: He's just kidding. His humor knows no bounds.

Personally, I just skip the freeway. Takes about 10-15 minutes longer, but the roads are more interesting and there are no tolls.

You could also go this way, mostly interstate, no tolls, 5 minutes shorter than the above... still a few interesting back roads and no tolls.

Going 19 seems to be a good route. Sunpass' site sez I can get a transponder at Publix and then go online to activate. If that becomes a problem, I'll have the GPS "avoid tolls" and let it take me from there. Worst that happens is I end up in Georgia. :)

That's actually not a bad idea. Joe is right on your way in Palm Harbor. (couple miles off of US19)

Lest you think we're not paying attention...

If M2 attendance becomes CONSISTENTLY that large, and it appears that one of the three classes that makes up M2 (CS, FS & DS) could be split out and make a class of its own, we'll certainly consider it. So far, M2 attendance is not consistently that high. It sometimes is, sometimes isn't. The biggest wildcard seems to be the FS guys (Mustangs, Camaros, etc). If they just show up "sometimes", and if it's a different group of them each time they do show up en masse, then splitting the class doesn't make sense. But, if the cars that are represented among those who are qualified for trophies (5+ events) in the points near the end of the season indicate that a split is necessary, we'll certainly consider it.

But, remember, Freakin' Drew made it painfully obvious that an old school FS muscle car was quite capable of winning our M2 class against all of those pesky CS cars. And there are DS cars that could be right there in the hunt with the right setup and a skilled driver. If folks want T-shirts, they need to make it happen, not hope for a reclass!

Push harder, suck less, and all that.

Do I need to have my number taped on my car before I arrive? If not, should I bring tape or will there be some available at the event?

I've made it to IRB. Got the Sunpass from Publix, set up the authorization (I hope). I can't believe I'm getting up early during a vacation. See ya all at the site! Look for the 2017 Silver Malibu. :)

Those new Malibus are pretty nice! I hear they handle fairly well too... :thumbwink:
