Ok this being my first time in a stock class and coming from M2 class. What is the max width I can run in S4?

Whatever fits under the car is S4 legal. S5 is the only stock class with a tire width limit.

It's another course that we ran before, Jason. Just added a little length to it. Yes, always look closely at the slaloms both on the map AND when you walk them.

Suddently moving s2 to s1 sounds like a really lame idea. s1 to s0 makes more sense.

I'm trying to get an idea of how many people in the morning group want to go down to Miatapalooza (http://www.tampabaymiatas.net/forum/vie ... 1f#p179107) afterwards...if enough folks commit, I'll ask Randy if he can arrange things to park the group together. I'm going. Ron's going. Philip's going.Jamie wrote:I think those of us running Miatas should register in the morning group and drive down after lunch, keep the numbers, the cone marks, and the tire dust.
I'm registered for the morning. Who else is with me?

I know Miguel Diaz and Robert Gundy are headed that way. (they probably aren't following this forum, as they're from Tallahassee)

And well, shucks, this event is sold out.
I suppose someone could cancel in the next few hours, so if you were straggling, keep an eye on the registration page...
Next Open event is May 6.

Public Service Announcement:
Our resident underappreciated photographer, will be leaving early Saturday. He probably won't get a lot of photos, if any. So, if you're so inclined, bring your longest lens and do your best to fill in for Philip!

I finally got a car to get into s1 and give some relief to dad's s2000 and Ken changes his game to bring out the s2k.
At least I'm running fun run in it and not s1 class for this event. Randy I'll be looking to join ya next season with some s2k fun in s1.

Mark,
Bring it. Randy was ONLY 5% faster in his S2k than my RX8. Sadly for him I am 15% faster in my S1 vette than my RX8 so he's screwed by 10%.
Life isn't fair unless you divide by 2.
Mark: Run in S1. Get a base line.

With all the transitions on this course, I think a car's dimensions will matter more than it's power.

that 5% was equal to about 3 seconds so I don't stand a chance loltwistedwankel wrote:Mark,

We ran almost the same course last April. Results don't look out of the ordinary.Z1NONLY wrote:With all the transitions on this course, I think a car's dimensions will matter more than it's power.
Interestingly, Dat was at that event. He's going to think all of our courses are the same, even though we've done 23 different courses since the last time we ran this one!

I would be running in s1 for a baseline, but I'm already running M1 in the morning in the other s2k for points. I can't give up on my season in that class just yet.
