I stopped using a camera for a few months now. Way too distracting to remember turning it on. My slow runs always look faster than reality. My fast runs always get deleted.

So cool. Thanks to the regular R1 guys showing up and keeping the points all the way up to 8!! Ken the "borrower" is getting pushed out and now Bob T and I can duke it out for 2nd place behind "Sir" Elliot. It sucks that Bob's trailer queen let him down BUT so did Elliot's queen running on 2 settling for FTD. Thinking: If memory serves me the Datsun has twin carbs so running on 2 would seem like one of the side drafts is not working properly. My 4 carb Suzuki bike used to need some love every 3 years draining the rust out of the bowls and getting a carb sucking balancing tune up. The kaka noise makes it run like shit. How now brown kaka.Loren wrote:http://drivefast.org/results/championship-points/
Season Points have been updated. WOW there's some close competition still!

This was my first event, I was in the black Nissan 240 who kept everyone busy doing course work on my first couple runs. Sorry! Just learning the car, powerband, tire grip - everything!
Anyways, it was a ton of fun and I'll definitely be out for as many events as I can. Thanks to everyone who helped me, and nice meeting a lot of you!

Exactly, and yup research did reveal that I'm gonna most likely need more rear spring..AScoda wrote:Torque arm turns crappy Ford 4 link rear into 3 link for better rear suspension articulation. Panhard bar keeps it centered.
It lets the booty twerk.
You know you are going to need more rear spring, right?

You too man, you’ll have to give me a ride next time! Maybe my clutch will be in, on its way, so I won’t have to baby it as much and be able to launch.nathanwilliams617 wrote:Glad you had fun. I personally invited both of them to run their cars. Both declined. I guess you have to make it a big deal formal cop event for them to get permission to do something like this.

Didn’t one of them ride with someone? Who did he ride with?

He has a Golf Sportwagen like Bill's. Put an APR tune on it. After he rode, later I heard he wanted another ride in something fast.Loren wrote:the Sheriff's officer

Now I know why Nico retired.
