Time to rattle some cages and get your friends to register for this event! The entry count is dismal.

Yall really need to start checking with me to see whats going on when you schedule these events. May 4 is probably one of the worst days of the year for me to get free. Not only is it wifeys birthday, but it is also Star Wars Day (May the fourth be with you), and the Kentucky Derby. Lets go ahead and scratch May 5th too since I am always super hung over from the Derby party...

Weak excuses! Anyone who's watched Han Solo go through the asteroid field in The Empire Strikes Back knows he was an autocrosser at some point. Wear a funny hat, if you need to satisfy your Derby Day cravings. And tell your wife you're giving her the gift of peace and quiet for a whole day!

Naw, the Skywalkers had some Autocross skills. Luke and the speeder bike and Anakin with Pod Racing. But again, Solo made the Kessel Run in less than twelve parsecs....

So just curious, is there a layout method that would allow 2 cars to be on course at the same time at dunnellon? Seems to always be(or most of the time) only having 1 on course.

If we're using the freshly paved access road at all, it's really hard to do a two car course safely. And if you don't, then the course is short enough that it doesn't need to support to cars, anyway.

Most Dunnellon course will end up being single car courses. On the plus side, it allows a lot more design flexibility than the typical airstrip ”slalom out, slalom back" layout. We can do a lot more sweeping turns, and also keep further from the grass.

First run, "car feels off". Run two, "damn I think I blew all my shocks". Run three, "this car feels fabulous now!"

I think Ford still owned 30% of Mazda then. You're almost home when you replace all those parts. Keep the radio volume knob working to hide the falling off parts noises. Get AAA+ for 100 mile tow or get AAA deluxe for 200mile tow. Or just buy Loren's truck and a tow bar. No problem so long as you leave the steering column unlocked while flat towing.

Go to that link you sent him and click the entry list link.

I'd like to see more, especially in the Late Session. But, we've got enough entries to make things happen. 8-)
