I wasn't feeling it when I rolled out of bed at 5:30am. But, it turned out to be a great day, and a pretty awesome event!
Yes, you can do a very "Brooksville-like" course at Venice!
Thanks for all the extra help today. It's always a bit more of a challenge to get everything done with a smaller-than-normal group, and we got it all done without any issues.

The "Push Harder, Suck Less" philosophy explained:
Push Harder - Drive as close to the limit of your tires as possible.
Suck Less - Drive something resembling a proper racing line.

Best Venice course yet! The weather was good, food was good, also the Miatas did very good
.
I was happy with my time but I messed up the transition to the last 3 slaloms to the finish so my entry sucked. I didnt go right far enough when entering those slaloms, so I had to slow down more than I needed to entering it, this the exit speed sucked. I definitely needed to fix that and the returning slaloms at the turn around(was getting late going through it). Even fixing those, not sure if that would even beat FTD regardless lol.
Loren did pretty good for riding my car only 2 runs. A 42.7, not too shabby.
Video of my run.

By the fourth run on, I was really getting a good feel for the back slalom. Glad it turned out to be a great event, and I liked the course.

Your car is surprisingly easy to drive once you get calibrated to it.

It was fun and the course was well-designed. The artwork made things visually fun though resulted in some funny tire marks. Sorry artists.
