Here's an in car video from one of the runs... OK, over-driven, a bit sloppy and a cruddy edit job.... but it gives an up close and personal view of the course.
PS. Thanks for the advice Kenny.... it helped adjust the 'suck less' factor! 8)

And one from a "full-bodied auto" perspective...

Or one with fewer mistakes...not as exciting though!

Yeah, right! Yellow_Colorz_PDT_29 Ironically, each of our only loss was from each other.solar 90GT/03Si wrote:Ahh! So I get a "tie" with Aaron? So much for my first, "first"![]()

I guess it'd be a better video in Brooksville when I might actually shift to 2nd gear.
I think I need better rear suspension now... car likes to squat when I get on the power.

Definitely an awesome event. Great course, great food, an insane amount of fun, an even more insane amount of competition( I swear if this was a timed event that some of those runs would have come down to hundredths or even thousandths of a second) and of course awesome people. Some people were talking about how there weren't to many people, but I think it made the event better only having 30 or so entrants. Everything ran on time and was nice and relaxed. Plus, it gave me plenty of time to get to know some FAST members that I have never really had the chance to speak to before.

That's why Loren called it a tie, we should've ran once more.aparke wrote:

I was really surprised that "J" did as well as it did, normally we're about a second or two behind you guys every week.aparke wrote: Congrats to the J class stepping up to H to provide some fierce competition. Wow, that was very cool, THANK YOU to the planners gridding that mess was a nightmare logistically and it flowed very well
My first run I hosed because of a retarded right foot ( or perhaps the brain cell that controls it)
the other two were so tight we had to visit the trailer to find out,
Had I beaten Rydell I would have felt like Lewis hamilton, Hell I was happy to come up 5 yaris lenghts short of Loren on a prac run
Good stuff
IF ANYONE CAN BURN A COPY OF THE BRAZILLIAN GP I WOULD BE HAPPY TO FLIP A 10 SPOT FOR IT

Push Harder - Drive as close to the limit of your tires as possible.

Recent? I don't think I've been to a PCA event since May, right after I put the suspension and fresh tires on the car for One Lap. But, it's always fun to go whoop up on some P-cars!
Most of those guys are really cool about it, though. They know that it's all about the driver, and they're just out having fun. Makes me happy to see Porsche owners actually DRIVE their cars instead of just idling them around town or taking them to car shows.

What a system! You truly never know what is going to happen! I was very surprised how close I was finishing with some very capable drivers (WG and Loren), I just kept blowing it with that 3rd cone! I can't wait to do it again. And Bill, a little confidence goes a long wayWillie Gee wrote:Pleannnnty of runs.
The only one I have to blame is myself for not making it further in the grid. It's an amazing system, because if you blow two runs at the wrong time: poof yer done! It rewards those who peak late. And it's very chancy, I had VERY capable drivers blow their runs against me. And my ego almost caught me early, when I was "driving Miss Daisy" and almost lost! Yikes!
Consistency Consistency.
It was soo much fun tho. And a welcome change to your typical event.

If SPC didn't have a restriction on using the PA, things would have seemed a little less chaotic. We could have announced who was running, whether it was a live or bye match, who won, etc.
Maybe next time we do it at Lakeland?
