Wimps! 20F isn't cold enough to skip and event. Maybe if it was going to be 20F all day long,. . . I own a coat, and I'll certainly be sporting it until the sun warms us up, but I'm looking foward to all that cool, dry air - my little engine is sure to love it!

Can I make a suggestion about the run groups? No? Well I'm going to any way

. Can you run the race tire classes later in the day so we arent iceskating on the runway when its still >50 degrees?

My street tires are slick as ice when cold, so could you please schedule my class to run when the surface is at it's warmest point of the day. Thanks.

After much consideration, we are running the R tire class bright and early when it's still in the 30's and hopefully frosty! 8am first R-tire car out, see you then!:D

Doesn't matter, your competition will be competing on similar tires in the same conditions. There will be no significant grip at any time tomorrow!

Don't sell tomorrow short. Gainsville was much the same way last weekend, and by the time we got going, it was warm enough to generate some stick on the asphalt. Should be even better with concrete.

Talk about stirring the pot, o well it was a suggestion, I'll deal.
Edit: the surface is concrete? I was told it was ashpalt, in that case disreguard what I said completely.

Yep. Concrete. Zephyrhills is asphalt. (or some strange combination of different types of asphalt) SPC is sealed asphalt. Brooksville is very definitely WWII concrete.

Just some good-natured grief...don't take it too seriously. And remember the guy doing the run groups is on race tires, too....
