Hello all!

I just registered on here last night because our good friend Bill Beers has finally talked me into coming out to one of the events, in this case, the Sept 10th event next weekend. It's practically right down the street from where I live and he says it's a nice simple course for a beginner like me. Now since I have new rubber (Falken Ziex 912 - nothing special) and new suspension (Megan Street Series - fully adjustable), I figure my car is "up to date" enough to participate in a couple races every once in a while.

Anyway, just wanted to say "Hi" and look forward to seeing some old familiar faces next weekend. I have a feeling this first event is going to get me hooked and I'm going to be out there all the time! LOL We'll see...

Hopefully it'll be a little cleaner than this for the event!

Don't listen to Bill Beers - he hasn't a clue what he is talking about. And his car is slow. And he's ugly... :derp:

RED CARS -- FTW!

Greetings Charles. Good to see you're going to give it a go. You have to work pretty damn hard not to have a good time at a FAST event.

Don't mind Ed. The guy has some pretty good insight on that Beers fellow, but he gets grumpy when he remembers that he isn't cool anymore. (You can't fight it Ed, smooth is cool and blue is fast.)

LOL!

Yeah, I can see that I'm gonna fit right in with you clowns. ;) Bill's said nothing but good things about you guys, and it's showing true already. Can't wait to get out there to the event and meet some new people.

Thanks John. However, the BRG is looking in a pretty sad state at the moment as the paint job looks like pooh. It needs a major bath and wax. It does have a nice, new, shiny "blue" header on it though as of tonight thanks to Bill and another friend! :smurf:

And Bill, I will definitely help haul drinks and such to the event. :thumbwink:

We have more than a couple of cars you can park next to that'll make your paint look fresh. :)

I like to keep my mustang with a protective coting of grease on it at all times not only does it look more manly but it helps the car slip throw the air better

Cool! I have a little R-134A oil overspray on my left headlight lid. Maybe that helps me some! LOL

After this spring's school, I think that should read:

Just wanted to drop in and say Hi. Looks like you have a fairly large club going on here.
Looking for a place to have some weekend fun around the bay area. Its been a long time since my last autocross event and finally got a toy to play with again .Its a 91 mazda rx7 vert sadly because of the engine swap to a sr20det not sure how its going to be classed. but that is irrelevant. Just looking to have some fun and see you all at the July 22 event.
Tips and pointer are welcome.Any chance i could run my 379 pete 1200hp cummins with an 18 speed tranny :derp: joke!!

Welcome, Scott! We're really not that big, but we keep our small events full. Looking forward to seeing your RX7. Oh, and it sounds like it's probably an M1 car.

Hi Everyone. I found out the hard way that event registration fills up quickly. I missed the opportunity for the last st. pete event, but I am looking forward to entering my first event in July.

I was curious to how my car would be classified. I have a 97 Camaro SS...it is modded. Does anyone know what class I would be in?
