Alas, Loren posted the next-to-last version we'd discussed -- use this instead.

Same course -- just some cones moved around.
It appears we will only be able to have one car on the course at a time?
What times are estimated? 35 -38 sec.? 5 runs?
Let me guess...when you were little, you were the one in the back seat asking, "are we there yet?" :) We'll get as many cars out there as is safe. The times will be as fast as people can drive it -- say, about 12 seconds for Jeremy, 50 seconds for the likes of you and me. Number of runs will be determined by lots of factors -- particularly weather -- I can't predict right now, so I'm making no promises beyond one.

Looks like a great course. Well done - bummer I won't be able to drive it.
I'm betting most times will be over 40 seconds.

That would be my guess...
Yeah, same place we had it last time. You gonna leave the keys in the chariot for me? 8-)

Yes that's the plan, the carport has been fixed, so get the chariot and move it and put your car under it.

Pointer #1: Ride with an instructor.
Pointer #2: Find an instructor to ride with you.

Course looks fun though :)

That is what the big-ass umbrellas are for!

Because we care.

With the flag, radio and chasing cones a ez-up is much better then a umbrella.

Yep You called it! But actually Iasked more interesting questions like: " Dad - Wouldn't we get there faster if you pumped up the tires another 6 - 8 psi, filled her up with 93 octane, took your 259 lb toolbox out of the trunk, and reversed the air cleaner lid to open up the airflow to the carbs?"

We only have two tents and presently nothing portable to tie them down with in the event of wind. We have lots of umbrellas. The worker holding the flag and radio can hold the umbrella, leaving the cone-chaser free to chase cones. If it's raining hard-ish while we're running, things usually run at a somewhat slower pace, as we expect it to be a little harder for workers to keep up. If it rains REALLY hard or there is lightning, we'll bring the workers in and wait it out.

Weather is just another part of the sport. :thumbwink:

Registrar, please pm me. Doug will not be able to run, and I may or may not, depending. Will explain.

Thanks.

Just in case you hadn't read the fine print, running supplies doesn't necessarily get you out of other work...it just raises your draft number. So bring your rain gear, just in case. :)
