Maybe a little busier on the way out than what we usually see at a FAST event.

Maybe... or maybe it's designed to just look that way? :geek:

Looks like cars could be getting a bit close to each other by the rubble if they both go wide... Optical illusion/scale issue?

The "passing zone" is between the Chicago Box and the slalom entry gate on the outgoing side. Preferably the "early" side of that. We'll watch it closely for the first half of the first run group, like we always do, to determine the optimal release point for the second car.

Someone with more cargo space than a Miata, ideally.

Shopping list is like 10 or 12 cases of water, 6-8 cases of soda, 60 lbs ice. Am I close?
Ok so I'm thinking I might even stop by saturday to drop off the drinks and I can do the 60 lbs in the miata in the AM. So i'm thinking Cherry Coke, Dr. Pepper, Sprite, Diet Coke, maybe something not carbonated like iced tea or lemonade. Any other drink requests or diet drink preferences?

Thanks Matt.
Mix up the coke and pepsi - reg and diet - some folks are particular.

I don't know what a bag of ice weighs but with drinks the coolers can only hold 8 bags max.

Matt, I've heard a couple folks ask about non-cafine options on soda. I don't know if any of the ones you listed are caffne-free or not, but it might be something to consider.

On another note, that timer display looks sweet! I can't wait to see that up an running.

On the flip side... the folks who are finicky should volunteer to get supplies!

I think that's what Brian was going for. Though he blamed it on the Porsche club.

Makes me wish I could get to my ebrake while driving, not that it would be the fastest way around it!

Looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow. And a head's up, don't forget your rain gear; even though there was no chance of rain today, it looked like it might bust loose at anytime out there today.

Howard already reset the majority of the cones to match tomorrow's course so our course setup guys could probably sleep in a little longer. The section on the return side near the concrete might need to be moved IN one block.

Wow, thanks to Howard for that ! Still, I would like the set up guys to be there on time. I'm sure there will be some adjustments needed.

Do we have someone to haul the trash bags ?
