Kenny, sorry to hear that you're slightly disabled, I had a tow truck run over my foot one time, and I know the pain you speak of. I could bring my red wagon and pull you around the course if some else is using the dolly.
Jack, I have a feeling the course map isn't going to be posted.

Perhaps you weren't paying attention when our event chairman had to abandon his post for personal reasons and Jamie had to take over for him? Things are coming together just fine, we'll have a course whether you get to see it before the event or not, chill out.
We didn't become the most popular autocross club in the area by whining about stupid stuff like this, geez!
I've been autocrossing since 1996 and I've never seen a club that REQUIRED all course design discussions to be done on a public forum. It's NOT the norm. It would add time to a process that already takes more time than some people have. We've made a place for people to discuss course designs if they CHOOSE to. If a course designer doesn't want to take that extra time, or doesn't want the extra input, so be it.

Because between getting an access roster to the airport, squeezing in an actual autocross, taking my wife out for an evening, drafting out the run/work groups and work assignments, taking dogs to the vet, and spending the spare 10-12 hours in each day doing things the Air Force pays me for, I'm not done yet. And I don't like designing courses by committee or having 25-30 people hanging over my shoulder while I work, in acutal or virtual space.fast 5 racing wrote:so the secret course thing continues! and why???
Besides, I'm putting features favoring race-tired Miatas over race-tired S2ks.
When it's done, I'll send it to Jeff to post.
+1, except I'd have said it like Edward Furlong taught Schwarzenegger in T2....Loren wrote:...chill out.

It's not about confidence, we just don't post them that often, doesn't bother me one way or another.Jamie wrote:No confidence?solar 90GT/03Si wrote:Jack, I have a feeling the course map isn't going to be posted.

I'm with you!! I would probably pick up a ½ second if I would drop about 20 pounds.kickslop wrote:I would like to point out that ... due to the many autocrosses I have missed lately and 20-beer weeks (instead of maybe 8 ), I have gained 6lbs of pure fat.

Hmmm... 2600 pound car, 150 pound driver, 250 hp (I'm probably guessing low on all counts)
2750/250 = 11.000 pounds/hp
2756/250 = 11.024 pounds/hp
Somehow, I think you'll be okay!
