That works, better if the numbers are white, easier for timing and course workers to see, or use blue tape.

Yeah, it's good enough. Don't go changing it for this event, it'll do.
Would be better even if just the numbers were bigger and the window was dark tinted for better contrast.
Here's this for anyone who hasn't seen it:
Car Numbers, Good and Bad

Having to explain this because Race Car....Priceless.

Royce,
Put the rear seat back in, unless you are running in a modified class.
Ill be in M3, at least that's what the consensus was from my 240 thread. Let me know if im wrong.
You're fine with no back seat in M3, Ed just likes to stir the pot.

Cool Brian, we'll be classed the same. I hope you dont mind if I pick your brain a little tomorrow. Even with the spring forward business going on I plan to be there early for set up even though i dont run until the late session.
The back seat is the least of my worries about what might push me up to Mod 3.

I can make them taller. The window paint is easy to apply. I would have just used tape but I'm out...lol.
The numbers thread is a good one. Ive got some ideas for the future.

Trailer is in place. Couple of notes:
1) the paddock area isn't gated anymore.
2) the lock to the pad is not cooperating. It took me several minutes of jiggling it to get it to open.
3) the police course isn't set up. Just a large box on one end. So, are we expected to reset the police course OR reset to as it was when we arrived?
someone with a higher pay-grade than me needs to decide that.

I wasn't sure if he was running in a stock class or not. Didn't want him to be bumped just because of that. You 240 boyz really stick together - huh?

Thanks, Ed. I'll survey the situation and make a decision tomorrow. Is this box going to be in our way?

Considering how often 240's need attention, there is certain " I know your pain" camaraderie that is associated with owning one. Sort of like owning a Mustang. Everyone has their story.

Heck no we aren't putting the police course back if it isnt there to begin with. Someone please take a picture or two for proof. Then as best as possible put it back the way we found it.
The school is closed for Spring Break so there's no one to ask anyway....
Thanks Ed!

That's likely the same conclusion I would have come to, Steve... but I wanted to lay eyes on it. Pictures is a good idea. I'll make an attempt, but it will be dark when we start setting up.

By large box I mean a row of cones. On the NE corner, by the grass, 12 or so cones running west, then another 12 or so running north. Most of the cones are in stacks on the grass.

Should I bring my good camera and a tripod for a long exposure shot?
