You won't need it. I'm not going to be there.Solar wrote:...added an extra can of Whoop Ass.

Yeah, but isn't Ron going to be driving your car? With you not around? Dude, that car's gonna be like "rental car" fast!garage west wrote:You won't need it. I'm not going to be there.
That's right. I expect Ron to take home a trophy. Everyone knows rental cars can defy the laws of physics.Loren wrote:Yeah, but isn't Ron going to be driving your car? With you not around? Ben's car is strange. Every other Miata on the face of the planet will run an entire event on negative fuel -- the gauge reading below E!Loren wrote:Some cars will fuel starve in long turns (like the two turn-arounds that are on this course) when the fuel level gets very low. If you don't know whether or not your car is going to do that, it's worth considering. Ben's Miata used to do that with less than 1/4 tank!
I know! I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't experienced it myself. Could be a cruddy strainer on the fuel pickup or something. I don't remember if he ever changed that, or just resolved to keep the fuel level above 1/4 tank.Jamie wrote:Ben's car is strange. Yes, it is true that John's car is, as we speak, sitting in my driveway awaiting tomorrow. I wouldn't worry though. I could only get to 20.3 seconds on Doug's test.garage west wrote:That's right. I think closing the tab on that was one of the best decisions I've ever made.BigBlue wrote:I wouldn't worry though. I could only get to 20.3 seconds on Doug's test.

Half tanked tomorrow morning, fully tanked by midnight.twistedwankel wrote:We will have more than 1/2 a tank of the "good stuff". So Brian and I will be more than 1/2 tanked.

I accept your challenge.Loren wrote:Idunno about you chumps, but I've got my dastardly face on, and I'm ready for a Duel!

This is kinda like the lottery, "you can't win if you don't play".Professional_Slacker wrote:I accept your challenge.
