The urethane motor mounts are in, quite the PITA, I had to remove the starter and the pass side downtube to get to the bolts. The driver's side was tight, finally able to extract the mount from the rear of the block after jacking the engine up about 2-3 inches.

Summitracing had a sale on Flowmasters so I picked up a set of cat-backs, pretty much went right on.

Pulled the nose off the car and removed the (inoperable) A/C condenser and will replace the water pump and pulleys.

Image

Quite the debris field from this one, the A/C condenser is almost as big as the rad!

Image

Also on the list is to move the battery to the trunk

OK since the front end is ripped open I took the opportunity to do some detailing, BBK pulleys and install a JLT cold air kit, and general house cleaning.

even though JLT recommends removing the right front tire and going through the fenderwell, removing the bumper is almost as easy and it allows much more access.

You could try some other photo share service. You know... rather than just constantly bitch about it. Just a thought.

It worked perfectly for years, then..as usual some technoid decided to "improve" it.
Plus I've got a lot of stuff stored there.

Cleaned up the engine compartment, new water pump, hoses, etc..

Also installed the JLT intake

He's right you know.

Just because there's more bandwidth doesn't mean it's better to use it all up.

I've dumped a number of sites I used to "swear by". Fancy is crap.

I decided to move the battery to the trunk, I picked up the battery hot lead at the former battery location, there are other ways to do this but this was the most expeditious..

Image

I threaded the new battery cable into the firewall and through the woods..errr carpet and whatever, to the trunk.

Thanks, made the switch, as a non conformist, anal retentive , type "A" personality I can never understand why computers or programs just suddenly decide not to work. SRSLY..WTH? like the new "functions 100%" is actually more like "65%"...I'm sure some one will "improve" Imgur and it will crap out as well.

Worked for Moses, he didn't come down the mountain to find they suddenly wouldn't fit on the tablets when he went to read them.

I can see it now......

OK to the dash, the dash was pretty much hogged out, it had an aftermarket stereo at one point, a camera monitor and who knows what else, it looks like the dash barfed..

If you look closely you can see the butchered A/C duct work which is one reason I finished removing all the A/C stuff.

Image

Used the old piece of the plastic fabricated dash as a template..

Image

Kind of pieced it all together to make sure it fits, including the defroster controls
