I noticed at the last one, (that being my first time at brooksville) that there were rather large pieces of concrete breaking loose and finding their way around on the track.

Something to keep an eye on in between run groups this time around?

Even easier when we use Eric the Red (SUV) to drop cones off down the length of the runway.

What the heck were we thinking that first time when we carried the cones out by hand?!?!? :?

It's true, I'm moving back up to NJ beginning of November. I was offered a job that will give me a good raise and pay for grad school, so it's hard to say no.

As for the Mirrorkhanna, I'm sure one of the Sarasota guys will pickup my slack.

No problem -- there's a checklist, and we can pair you up with someone experienced.

I'm working registration, so whoever is working Tech make sure you get the check list when you come through the gate in the morning.

That part's foolproof...the checklist is printed on the list of cars to be inspected.

We still need someone to make sure we're adequately supplied with water, ice, and soda -- won't be as hot this time out, but we still need some supplies. I have no idea what's left in the trailer.

And I need a person to fix up lunch.

There is lots of soda left -- I wouldn't suggest buying any for November.

There is a moderate amount of water. Buy some.

Sigh. I can't make this after all. I am registered (and maybe paid? Can't recall).

I won't have my car back from paint (horror story).

You know... I learned last weekend that you might not win, but you can have an awful lot of fun autocrossing a crappy rental car.

OK I'll def be there. Vacation sorta cancelled...

I'll do whatever, setup, tear down, tech, whatever.

Soon I may just start autocrossing a grand marquis, so I may actually be able to haul soda and such soon :P
