Third paragraph defines "novice" as anyone who has competed in 4 or fewer autocross events, anywhere, anytime. So if you did 4 FAST events, you are technically still a novice til you finish that 5th event. If you autocrossed that 5th event already somewhere else, then you are no longer a novice. It's up to you to change that selection on your MyAutoEvents entry form.
