It almost looks like you cut a hole in the ceiling to fit that last box

Scott Park campus in Toledo 15 years ago. Not needed anymore as they have access to huge areas. Commercial Airport+Chrysler Plant.

Autocross around Perry Park woohoo. Put-in-Bay Access by ferry only. Used to be a yearly road race around the island until the State determined it was a State Rte and killed it. I'll never forget the look on the guys face racing a '46 MG with cable brakes heading sliding towards a giant oak tree. He stopped in time. Whew.

Ashtabula, OH Lake Shore Park was the 2nd autocross I ever went to. Freakin' awesome on those windy park roads. I got hooked autocrossing on that course. It got removed from the schedule after a guy in a Vette went into Lake Erie. No video cams back then.
I've autocrossed on some of the smallest imaginable parking lots at Misery Bay SCCA in Erie, PA. Those guys were just crazy fun to race with. Amazing what you can do at low speeds in the right area with a little banking, remote for noise and no light poles, drains or trees. AND a mandatory cloverleaf in the center to eat up the clock.
So it will be a 25 second course in 1st gear (for some) but you'll have fun all the same. Next time a cloverleaf?
If anyone moans tell them I'm going to be sitting in a traffic school for 4 hours from 8:30am-12:30....moan...AND paying $35 for the privilege. Who said life is fair.

New location, new obstacles.
It should be interesting of course (there's my pun for the day)
I was always under the impression the surface was a bit roughed up at the dog track, but I have full confidence in this organization and breaking away from brooksville is always a welcomed thing to me.
Whatever happened to that location FAST raced at towards lakeland years ago?

The lot you're thinking of is across the street. It's a little rough, but they don't want us to use it, anyway. They say the asphalt is too thin to tolerate much abuse.
We lost our contact at Lakeland. It was a logistical nightmare, anyway.

Motlow State CC, Tullahoma TN. About 200 ft on a side...and light poles! Paddock was in the small lot up against the ball diamond; grid was the connecting lane between them. They still use this. There was one nearby even smaller that belonged to a private school -- we ran there once a year for as a fund-raiser for the school. Looks like it's been torn up and replanted, though.

U of Illinois Assembly Hall parking lot. The painted lane dividers and hammerheads used to be curbed islands. Not those sissy FIA red and white curbs, either! Up one lane (slalom, chicane, whatever), around a hammerhead, back down the next. Let's just say we all learned to respect curbs....

This is the one I have memories of, the organizers would try and slow cars just before the islands with a kink or 90 turn, getting the cars unsettled just before they passed thru, sometimes with very bad results.

Thought I recognized Baysox Stadium.
You probably ran a lot at FedEx Field, but before Washington DC Region scored that coup, they ran at the ball field in Frederick MD. Paddock was in the Trinity School parking lot; grid was actually on the road. Every course we did there was at least three laps of the lot.
