Post number 3 in this thread needs updating badly, please.
Ok. Took the liberty of doing so. Hope no one minds...hope I got it mostly right...
Who's doing safety? I can if there's no one else...
Not that it's a major deal, just curious, but both Bill and Carl have said they are towing the trailer...who's doing it, and which day?

I think Ron told me I was doing safety. Who am I to argue?

I added a few - Thanks for editing Steve. Jeremy is co-chairing with me, and Charles is getting lunch if that's ok with Charles.
Mike, thanks for helping out with the supplies.
Steve/Jamie - can you pm me or Mike with quantities? I know we are out of water.
1. Water
2. Drinks
3. Ice
Do we need gas for the genny?
I need to start drafting a course!!! I'm gonna use the first one I ever did with this group for inspiration.

That will work, the 240 is reasonably spacious....... I'll even try to block off the hole in the trunk so I'm not fumigating the pizza with uncatalyzed boosted SR exhaust on the way back.

Not much in the way of sodas, either - folks seem to like real Coke - not diet, etc. I'm not sure about the rest of it, but it seems as if we have maybe a case or so in total.
Water - may as well get a ton - 10-12 cases - that'll hopefully last through the weekend.
Ice - 5-6 bags - if it's hot out we can get more at lunch time...
Lunch - assuming pizza - if Papa John's, 3 people per pie. If the Ma-Pa greek place, 4 people per pie. 75 people Sat., not sure about Sunday... Is that the plan?
Lemme know if there's other stuff...

75 x 4 bottles per person is 12.5 x 24 packs, this covers Saturday alone I'd say
Probably need another 9 cases for Sunday assuming 50 heads...
Biggest factor will be the temp outside.......
I know we don't want to have 500lbs of extra water sitting around but I think we'll go through most of this and the stuff doesn't go bad......
Real Pepsi/Rootbeer/Mt Dew/Dr.Pepper with some Diet thrown in...
I'd say 150 cans of soda for Sat, 100 more for Sun.
I think it's going to take more than 1 person to stock us up for this weekend.

Possibly both of us. (Are you confused yet?)
I'm towing it up. Carl (his wife, actually) may tow it back to my place to save me having to drive up to Brooksville just to pickup the trailer. He offered and I'll probably take him up on it.

Hmm I like rain, but would have to run something besides the S2K if that forecast holds true, which is most likely won't..
Bald tires + rain = fun, but not so fast..

Still need a second safety steward.
Also Jamie, if you can spare a couple corner workers, I would like to add a dedicated novice instructor for each heat. One of them should also coordinate a novice walkthrough at 9:30AM before the drivers meeting.

I'll be there. Can do Safety or Novice Instruction... or both.

Actually, we don't. SCCA requires a dedicated safety steward with no other tasking at all times...our insurance doesn't drive us to that.

I'll see what I can figure out.
BTW...while everyone wants to get their work assignment out of the way somewhere besides during the event, it's just not possible. We can't dedicate four people each to setup and teardown, so a couple of you who volunteered for those assignments will end up with regular run group assignments. That doesn't mean we can't use extra help before and after, but we already seem to have enough trouble getting a full crew man stations during the day. There are plenty of people chipping in and doing two or three jobs over the course of an event...join that elite group!

12 bags of ice
Are there enough coolers to hold 12 bags of ice, plus cans and bottles? The rest oughta stock us up fairly well...
Ron, hate to bring this up, but is there a "garbage plan?" Some folks are willing to haul recyclables, but a "work assignment" may be needed to organize that...or another plan?

ditto. at least after I finish registration. Or I can shag cones, or do timing, or nap, whatever...

No, 8 bags is about the max....... we need a minifreezer for the new trailer to store ice
