The FASTiva

Brakes? I remember there being a brake pedal last time I drove it, but don't remember it doing much. :)

This is why I mentioned it. I want people to know what to expect from the car. The brakes work great! They just take the pedal effort that you would expect for manual brakes... which nobody is used to these days. It's nothing crazy, just a little more pressure than you initially expect. Once you find that point and adapt to it, the brakes are great!

If this concerns you, let me know and I can let you take the car around the block a few times at the Dog Track, or up and down the near end of the runway at Brooksville to get a feel for it. Don't let these chumps scare you. The brakes work. If they didn't work, they would be on our list of things to fix! You'll notice that they are not.

Yeah, but if you get too far into people's heads trying to tell them how bad the car is, they simply won't enter. That's not the outcome we want. To have a good competition, we need competitors!

The Fastiva has an online build history. I drove it early on and it was safe AND fun. They have made it faster and lighter and wider and redder and safer and more comfie.
If you cannot drive this well sorted out race car you probably should ride Uber at events. Email TheMayor@Uber.com I'll give you a ride for cash.

The brakes work great. No kidding.
Really, the whole car does. It's a blast once you get past the look...

Okay, registration for the Classic AND the FROC is now open.

Over 40 drivers were invited to the FROC, and only 20 positions are availalbe for it. You know what to do.

Oh, and I'm going to need a non-FASTiva car to practice in. If anyone is open for a partial co-drive that day, lemme know. Preferably an underpowered FWD car... :snicker:

So something with 350hp and AWD or maybe ~325HP and a MR layout works?

;)

You can drive mine if you like. FWD but not underpowered- anything compared to the Festiva will not be underpowered.
