Just the Cannon mic, sounded way better than I figured it would.

Well that was a lot of fun!
Soroya - thank you again for sharing your car. That is an amazing little beast you've got there - easily one of the best rides I've had yet (no offense to anyone - her Fit is very well-set-up). And good job on besting my time by almost a full second (those cones don't really mean anything...

).
And thank you to all who attended and helped the event move along so, so nicely. That was some weird fog-rain we had, and I loved the way it cleared out.
Also do appreciate the pics Philip - well done! And the videos too, I watched a couple and see where I was not doing the far turnaround well. Very educational!
And to Road Kill Racing - we forgive you.

I see Les pinched his tailpipes shut to run. Did it sound like a stereo Bronx Cheer? Or a kazoo?
S2 was insane. Whoa. Probably don't want to know. That Lawson guy is faster in merry go rounds than normal.
Philip. How did you get them all to pose still like that?
Isn't it cool that Scott is back with his old tires still working!! An Enduro brings out the old kings of their classes doesn't it. Hello boys.

I had a blast! Nice change of pace from the standard format.
Thank you Ron for my timing training and others for your kind words and advice.
As others have stated, a fun and well-managed event. Every FAST event I've attended seems to move along efficiently and I learn something new with each.

I don't know, you tell me, still sounds like "Murica" to me, just neutered a bit:

Les, I don't think your car sounds as mean at idle... but, on course, it sounds more refined. A little more "sports car", a little less "mullet-mobile" "drag racer".
Not that my opinion matters. Did Steve get a good meter reading on it?

I'm inclined to agree, as I said at dinner, I guess I"m getting old, but I'm not hating the current sound, probably won't bother putting the electric cut-outs on it. And you opinion certainly matters, you are the man who decides if the car is allowed to run.

Steve measured more in the way the SCCA does by my request and got readings between 93 and 95.

You are welcome Steve. Considering what she is, and isn't, she is a fun little lunchbox. Welcome to the

Chispa Fan Club.
