Certain people get freaked out when you use the G word.

But, no, nothing that extreme. But, I'll try to come up with something different. Which usually means thinking outside the box and doing something we probably couldn't get away with at an Open event.

Loren told you he's fixed his bump steer now...right? I think I have a video of him at the endure if you have really good eyes or a huge monitor?

Randy, I finally figured out what's with an s2k at tracks. It has built in roll hoops from the factory so if one is short of torso they can pass the broomstick test for some track days. So Charles can road race one but I cannot benefit. :smack:

Looks like a momentum course with few places to put down some power. Inevitable, we have had some really fun power courses lately. Good steady state slalom practice, slightly increasing. If you have adjustable shocks see if you can make it dance.

Oh I am burning a DVD of some of the complete runs from Enduro. Get out your stopwatch and time them yourselves. I know....what's a DVD....why don't you Utube it?.....get a flash drive. Nope I've got a whole ton of blank DVD's and i'm gonna use them up before no one has a CD player anymore. Yikes. What's a Beta version of crap...it's one that sucks way worse than the one you know how to use. Like driving without power steering with giant tires.

I'll give it to Loren at the next event. Or maybe Big Ron. Or maybe Popeye Les. They all have advanced computer skills. What is a slide rule? Don't pee down the slide. No wrong answer.

Done like a polaroid with gel. My daughter showed up with a new polaroid camera without goo. No way. Retro is in. There is hope for me yet? Nah. Doomed. I still have some old goo left too.

I already don't have anything that will play a DVD. Wife's computer, maybe.

Hmmm. It will look really cool hanging from your rear view mirror. So you don't use Redbox anymore either? Yikes. Sell redbox stock and the coin changer too. What's money?

Next event I'd like to see some geometry cone age. looks like a straight line but it isn't. Feels like a curve when it's a straight. Feels like a nut but tastes like a skunk. Or possibly just no course map ahead of time :thought: Then these computer literate people cannot put it in their driving program at home for a week. :snicker:

My fat car is 75" wide. My skinny car is 72" wide both at the tires. I normally don't hit cones. I always finish in the top 1/3 to 1/2 of raw times no matter the course. I hopefully will continue to beat the MisterBitchi? Not looking very good anymore. Loren hasn't done anything to the driveline yet!! Crap. Keep the cones 76" apart at the angle of entry at the base of the cones and no issue for me. I still have polaroid gel and am farsighted.

How wide is the Mirage? 4.5 ft? Jeez, he'll be accelerating the whole way through

In spite of being tall and goofy looking... the Mirage has almost the same footprint as a Miata. (but not as close as the Festiva, which was nearly identical)

In fact, it's got a wheelbase that's 6" longer.

Track width stock stock is 56.3 front and 55.7 rear compared to the Miata's 55.5/56.2.

I've added 1/4" spacers to the front, so my front track is 56.8.

But, track width is measured from the center of the wheel. So, add tire width of 8" to the 56" track... overall width at the tire is right about 62".

Soooo... no, not 4.5 feet. And certainly not any narrower than a Miata. But, yes, I can accelerate through a lot of stuff that some cars can't. You're in trouble if I ever decide to add power. :walk:

Well Loren will have to rely on you yet again. Maybe you can describe his run to him after you memorize it? Faster than Les' second run. I did realize the DVD is stamped with the serial number for the Mirage MisterBitchi front disk brake large option. Maybe I should give him two? Weight saving for sure. I think it's reusable too?

Maintain speed maybe? Accelerate like as in "don't brake". I watched a show about redlining neighborhoods and not loaning them any money. They didn't move very fast after that. 8-)

You know Loren will be watching my times in March :geek: Maybe I'll check my tire pressure or dial up the boost? Or bump my steer? Or buy some premium gas? Or buy some fatter tires? Yea that works. Used 305/640 Pirelli's to the rescue to actually be competitive in R1 with a stock car. Hmmmmmm. Pirelli's or Hoosiers on the Mirage? Whoa.

I was just telling the guy I worked corner with (Philip) about the different "special" events and mentioned the G word was a possibility but also a bipolar topic....
