Super fun course design! Never been to this location before but will be looking forward to coming back. My best was a 30.829 which was good for 3rd in M3, but the video is a compilation of that awesome finish. Dramatic music is to cover up bad audio quality from the underwater GoPro case. I believe I was sideways across the line in all but one of my runs. Finally corded my Maxxis VR-1s and will be looking forward to coming back out on some RE71Rs on wider wheels. Hopefully that will keep the car planted!

LOL Mike you mentioned that to me at the event, and I don't think I completely understood - I didn't realize your car wasn't injected! :smack:

Yep - she had a home-owner-type emergency and did come in only to follow-through on bringing lunch for us. All hail Sally!! :salute:

How much fun? OMG Fun, Fun, Fun.....

While still my first season here I will say that all the events make me smile this one had me grinning from ear to ear like a little kid. What a cool track and while slick, the tight course with elevation changes was awesome. My fast run of 31.570 was all I could muster but was on par with cars with similar size tires seems like I finally have the car handling pretty good. Did I mention it was fun? LOL. Thank you for the many offers to drive other cars today truthfully with the curbs etc I was scared to take anyone up on the offer hopefully a rain-check for the airport events :) I am typically not too inspired to write much but its getting to the end of the season so I want to add some things I have said in private to these people....

Loren, Steve best organization of any kind that I have ever been involved with I think there are many people who have no idea what it takes to organize these types of events and they many many hours it takes since you both make it look really easy,.

To everyone else I see from week to week what an awesome group of people to be around, I have made many new friends since November. I have never seen a group of people so quick to offer help and advice then all of you.
Well that is it for me I'll see most of you in two weeks.

Did mention how much fun this one was?

I had a fun time at this event, and riding in the Cobra was like riding on a roller coaster! I just couldn’t wipe the smile off my face afterwards.

My new tires really surprised me. They shaved at least 2 maybe 3 seconds off my time. Going from old bald cheap falkens to new rivals was amazing, the car went where I pointed it, no burnouts at launch, and no spinning. Even though I love the burnouts and spinning

Thank you very much for the pictures, I always enjoy seeing them, and sending a few out to family and friends.

My car is so quiet, that it made that run look totally serene. Even the Mirage sounds faster than my car!
