Philip - nice shots, as always!
Thank you.
I particularly like the one you got of Bill's wagon.

There is a commonly used NASCAR style hollow sway bar for the rear thats 32mmLoren wrote:I didn't find your car twitchy at all. In fact, I almost felt like it could have used a little MORE rear bar. With the LSD, I was getting a little understeer in places like the turn-around that maybe could be helped with a little more rear bar to shift load to the front.
Or, maybe I just needed to come in hotter.
Car setup ultimately has a lot to do with driving style. What works for one driver might not work for another.
yep Phillip takes great photos, especially that one of the wagon lol.Native wrote:Philip - nice shots, as always!

That's big. If you're already running 22mm... 25mm hollow would be about equivalent. So, yeah, I guess 30-32mm hollow wouldn't be too crazy. Gotta watch your swaybar mounts if you go that route!aw614 wrote:There is a commonly used NASCAR style hollow sway bar for the rear thats 32mmIts a popular bar at the higher levels as the go to bar.
Yeah, setup was a factor. And my car has an open diff, so it is what it is. I never got the entry quite right, just just tried to stay as tight as I could on the first half, and then let it slide wide toward the outside exit gate cone as I accelerated out.I had the same issue with the turn around in both cars and thought it was due to poor line setup and difference in grip vs brooksville. I need to watch my two runs I recorded to verify, but I was never happy with how I set up both cars going through there.
