The Mirage sucks in the rain. Too much torque.

Pretty good analogy.twistedwankel wrote:You missed his comment a while back about having massive negative camber so runs on the inside of the tires like skis. All the time not just on race day!!Magooiii wrote:Water run off
So funny!!!!!!!
You have all wheel drive you’ll be fine.
For real, you need to go back to MA class. Give people in PAX class a chance.Loren wrote:The Mirage sucks in the rain. Too much torque.

I have to admit that I've not been paying much attention... but, I never expected the Mirage to do well in a PAX class. I'm reasonably certain that it's NOT doing well in the PAX class.CaptainSquirts wrote:For real, you need to go back to MA class. Give people in PAX class a chance.

Registration closes tomorrow. We've got 41 entries at present, and the weather is looking very promising. Hot, but not even very humid, and probably no rain.

I sold the temp seats for the Vette and pinched a nerve taking them out and putting the old refurbished ones back. Shit. Race while you can chipmunks.
Cars sitting on trickle charger life support now. Just like Rob. R+D organic failure.

Nice, it looked pretty grim in terms of rain earlier but looks like it cleared up for us!Loren wrote:Registration closes tomorrow. We've got 41 entries at present, and the weather is looking very promising. Hot, but not even very humid, and probably no rain.

44 drivers. Two run groups of 22.
The plan for now is to do one group before lunch and one group after. But, if it looks a LOT like it's going to rain after lunch, we may run both groups through 3-4 runs before lunch to ensure that everyone gets some dry runs... then do it again after lunch (rain or shine).
FYI, we got some new cones! We bought 150 of the shorter 12" cones. Now, before anyone freaks out, what we learned from our experimentation in recent months is that some people have problems with short cones as apexes and pointers, and some people (like me) hardly notice at all. The short cones will be used for CONE WALLS only. We'll still use standard 18" cones for key cones, apexes and pointers.
Steve also picked up 3 bags of asphalt patch, so we can do some more surface repair this weekend.

That would be awesome. First half for dry runs times and then last half wet runs times. We can compare with everyone's dry and wet times. Hope it rains last half
