Thanks! Best course I've seen at a FASTevent. Second gear! I think everyone enjoys a little speed occasionally on a course that's not real choked down. I thank the guy that drew it originnally, and the RD who picked it - nice job.
Thanks also for getting the event moving so smoothly - the cars were running all day.

I sure enjoyed it,

Great course, and Kim did a fantastic job! It was awesome that there was more than enough food for everyone as well! Thumbs up for being under budget and keeping everyone full!

I completely agree that was a GREAT course guys, what a blast!

Myself and co-driver Steve appreciate the hospitality, rides and support as we learn how to keep it between the cones.

Hopefully the team cone killer stickers will be removed soon :lol:

I had a great time out there. Was my first autocross with FAST and with my 190e. Was consistently knocking off time, so I was very happy.

Hope to make it out to the next one!

Sorry I didn't find you at the event - I wanted to compliment your driving on the 190E! I'm a big fan of those cars having wrenched on my share of 190E 16v & 2.6s but have never AutoXed one or even SEEN one at one of our events. Got plans to bring out the 16v? 8)

Its alright, you can bet I'll be back out there! I was impressed with how the car drove, now that I know how the car reacts I can knock off more time.

I'll probably bring out the 16v sometime. its 100% bone stock. The original owner of the car who I got in contact with actually auto-crossed it in the early 90's and won some awards with it so I figure it would only be fitting for me to bring it out a couple of times. The car is a restoration project. The interior is completed and the mechanical bits are almost done, but still working on them.

Great event! The weather was perfect too, thanks for the best event I've been to yet :)

Fantastic job running the event! I'm sure I'm not alone in also greatly appreciating the large quantity of water that was available. I went through 6 bottles of the stuff and still didn't drink enough! :shock:

This was one of the best organized, smoothest flowing events I've seen. Bravo! :D

Hey guys. Just wanted to post and say THANKS!

I was car #26, blue s2000.

I'd like to thank the organizers, excellent job keeping everything rolling. Great lunch too!

Thanks to Loren for riding along and giving me some pointers and good food for thought. Don't know if you saw my other runs but my final run was a 42.644. Not great, but I feel pretty good about it since this was my first autocross ever, and I'm on mediocre tires!

Again, thanks to all, and I'll be back next month!

Your spin wasn't a bad thing. Without it, you'd have constantly been wondering where the limit was and "OMG, what happens if I spin???" Like I said after that run, "you got it out of your system", which enabled you to move forward from there.

If you don't lose it every now and then, you're not trying hard enough!

This was my first FAST even and I gotta say I had a blast! Great course setup, and I look forward to more events.

I think you're right -- the reason the course went back together in 20 minutes was because ~4 people were doing it.

The markings on the pavement remain awful and confusing, as far as I'm concerned. There are green paint spots. There are orange paint spots with green outlines. There are orange paint spots with no outline but a green center piece of metal. And then there are the rest of the 9 other color markings out there in certain areas.

As for the map, it was useful for general reference, but it's off quite a bit in ... of course ... the 2 areas I worked mostly with. I will send you an image showing where.

Oh, speaking of which, in case they read this, I'd like to thank them for letting us use their training facility lot.

I know in my line of work how litigous society is, and I know it scares a lot of companies and organizations away from allowing this sort of activity, so THANKS!

In that case, sign up early and volunteer for a specific work assignment (announcer isn't one of them...that's something we do if we have a spare person or one of people in timing feels like it and the PA's up...doesn't often happen). To continue the kudos...smooth event-great fun! :D

4 run groups appeared to work out well with little hold up between sessions...seemingly a past complaint.

Reassembling the course was infinitely more user friendly with the laminated course maps after the event. The various marks on the ground are useless without the map...then it all made sense. Great idea!

Maybe only comment is a larger plot of surface for a longer course as getting enough of these events is tough once a month!

Slightly off topic...in-car video of what the English felt like ralling their Mini's back in the day...and yes I realize I only reached the driver's limits not the car's (oversteer in a front driver???) :oops:
