What's the per person lunch budget? If it's enough I could get BBQ or Gyros and Salad or any type of party platter from a decent restaurant.

Dave I can get the drinks if you can't, I can load them up in my Honda or van easy enough, let me know.

So the marble dust is covered. What else needs to be done other than drinks, ice and food? I know Dave and I can handle the duties while Loren and Ron are running.

Let me know what else needs to be covered. I'm still in SC but should be home late Wednesday night.
No publix sandwiches. BBQ/Gyros was my idea as well.

This is a special event, so Steve may be willing to spend a little more :P

I'll get the drinks, I have plenty of space in the Mercury, I guess I need to take out the subwoofer I just installed, it is bolted down with four bolts, would that pass tech? (me = lazy :P )

ayup.

BBQ/Gyros sounds like a nice change, and should really disappoint all those invitees who chose not to respond (never mind missing a wicked-fun event)! Buy enough food for 50 (38 registered plus 30% more for guests, etc). Please PM or email me once you have the price so I'm sure we have enough cash on hand that day.

oh, Ron, when you go to Allen's to get the marble dust, the routine has been to just go up to the front desk and ask for it. They keep it in back and will have you pay up then drive around back to pick up.

Damnit, valve stem went on the RR wheel on the Mercury last night. Flat tires suck :(

Should find out today if I'll have the spacers for the mustang wheels, otherwise I'll get all new shitty 225-70-15 tires mounted :( (current tires are a little questionable anyways :P )

Have the list.

Not sharing the list. 8)

You're running against whoever is in your class. You'll have to be on your game no matter who you're up against.

The brackets will be posted for viewing during practice, you'll have plenty of time to "strategize".

I'm thinking getting BBQ from Sonny's, tyey have the capicity to handle 50 servings, and only need a days notice to fill the order, but I'm working on it now. Unless someone knows of another BBQ place that they prefer and can depend on putting a large group order together on time let me know.

I'm going to choose a 2 meat (pork and beef?) and three sides (cole slaw, beans, mac and cheese?) combo with garlic bread. I'm guessing we don't need ice tea or lemonade.

for bbq, you should find one of those brothers that has the grill he pulls around thru the hood and sells on the corner and have him come out and cater, good stuff

It doesn't take much to beat Sonny's

I gave them a call and have to call back tomorrow, the problem could be that they don't open Sunday until noon. I'm going to find out how much it will cost to have them cater and/or deliver it, because there's no way I'm driving up to Safety Harbor.

I left a message with Steve to see what kind of budget we have, if we can pull off having it catered or at least delivered, that would leave me open to help with other things that need to be done Sunday.

I'm all about BBQ, I've been known to smoke up some good pork butts and ribs. Here's a pork butt I smoked and pulled to make sammies, good eaten fo shore.

Lunch is going to be delivered by Brady's BBQ, getting pulled pork with buns, chickens, beans, cole slaw and 2 large jugs of sauce. Hopefully this will satisfy everyone. 8)
