Jamie, could you please go ahead and set the page up? $150 per.
with a max of 10. Reg. deadline sometime Saturday?
I realize this is last minute, but as I said earlier, the airport isn't giving us much room.

I'm still 50/50, I'll be a last minute entry if I do it.

It looks like there are three plus me for sure so it should happen. Worst thing is that we may each have to pitch in another few bucks if there is no one else. We should go ahead and pay them for the date. Please remember that we are on the hook for the money even if the weather is bad or you can't make it at the last second!

Sounds very interesting. Will there be a skid pad for sure and if so will there be more than one diameter?
I would also like a chance to drive in a straigt line to work on acceleration with my new carb setup.
What is the deadline to register and how do I go to register?

With the number of people we're talking about, you can do pretty much anything you want. Plenty of room for launch testing or skidpad.
Of course, it's a runway, so you only have 150' of width. That means not much larger than a 100' skidpad.

Jamie,
I'm unable to select the "fee option", and I can't register!
Am I doing something wrong?

Reading the description of the event, I'm not sure I'm welcome!?
I really need a safe environment to test my new car.
I'll stay out of the way of the pros, and learn from a distance!
Or, if you prefer, I'll respect the requirements, and find another way.

Same problem. The 'Fee Option' fields are not active. I can't complete the registration.

Since there's only one fee option, I don't think the radio button is active -- it defaults to $150. Hit "submit" and it should go through.

Not a matter of welcome or not, just making the purpose clear. This session is really set up for people to fiddle with the car setup -- different parts, different adjustments, and so on. That means the course will probably be short and rather technical. If all you want to do is drive the car as is, this is probably overkill for you -- bring it out to a regular event and work up to speed over a series of runs. Likely as not, you'll get more seat time at a regular event, for much less cost, and learn the car better. Up to you.

Negative. It's busted. Can't select the price, and clicking submit anyway results in an error message telling you that you didn't select a price option.

Even if you just want to work out tire pressures, seat posiltion and other things it would still be appropriate. I am anticipating a longish slalom, a skidpad or figure 8, some sweepers of varying diameter, and possible some
chicago box type offsets. This would cover the majority of the types of elements you usually see at nationall autocross events. Practicing straight line starts is also okay, especially looking toward pro solo events.

I guess you'll just grab some stacks of cones from the club trailer to bring with? I can't imagine that you'd need the entire contents of the club trailer that day!

I was thinking the same thing, Bill. But, Howard wants to drag the trailer out. Said it would be a pain to have to unload/reload the trailer at home to get at the cones and all. Probably true.

So who is towing the trailer? I don't plan to be there and Howard will be towing his car hauler I'd guess.
Actually the cones should be readily accessible just by opening the back doors.

I think Howard said something about his co-driver towing the car and him towing the trailer. He'll work it out, I'm sure.

Can you put me on the list as a spectator?
Jeremy Damico
